“I guess that means we should get downstairs, or whatever it’s called,” Craig said.

“Unless you plan on stowing away.”

“Tempting, but no.” Craig chuckled as he started for the stairs, with Kevan right behind him.

Did he mean that? Thinking about combining our dreams? Or was he just caught up in the moment and the atmosphere? Kevan wanted to ask him, but didn’t. Now’s not the right time. There may neverbe a right time.

Craig didn’t want the night to end. Something had changed in their relationship, he thought. He’d felt it, but was afraid to address it, for fear he was wrong. Or right? I’m certain he’s interested in me, but am I ready to face that? To deal with it? To take a chance on him, after what I went through with Scott?
