Dead City

As they made their way out of the base gate, the truck they were traveling in began to be swarmed by zombies. The soldiers on the tailgate started shooting at the zombies to keep them moving forward. 

Fortunately, they could still move relatively freely. Roderick also directed their driver towards the first place they would try to visit while staying away from the zombies that continued to stick to their truck. 

Theodore could see what had happened to City A almost two weeks after the zombie outbreak. The city had become a ghost town. 

"I didn't expect the city to look this creepy, even though it's only been two weeks," Theodore said sadly, looking out the window. 

"The world isn't the same anymore. We must work hard to maintain the base's survival," Roderick replied, feeling Theodore's sadness.
