Before Roxanne could allow the soldier to check into her car, the soldier had already carried out the inspection. Geoffrey, who realized this, immediately shook Roxanne's shoulder vigorously. 

"How is this?! They could have found Theodore's brother in the back," Geoffrey said while whispering in Roxanne's ear. 

Geoffrey glanced at the passenger seat at the back and his eyes rounded in surprise when he didn't see Theodore's figure at the back. 

"Oh my! Where did brother Theo go?" Geoffrey looked back at Roxanne while pointing at the back seat. 

Roxanne, who heard that, hurriedly looked back and it was true that she did not find Theodore there at all. Then, the two of them were surprised again by the voice of the soldiers who seemed to have returned.
