In My Next Life I'll Win the Heart of the Male Lead

There's nothing wrong with Adelaide's life. There's nothing wrong with being cheated on. After all, half of marriages end in divorce and most end from infidelity. There's nothing wrong with getting addicted to an otome game. After all, everybody has something they're obsessed with. There's nothing wrong with reincarnating as the villainess instead of the heroine. After all, the villainess is richer and more powerful. There's nothing wrong with the villainess chasing after one of the love interests. After all, it's not like he's the canon route. There's nothing wrong with Ophelia's life.

The Underground

No.

Lucas isn't pointing at a pile of rocks.

Not exactly.

It's an entrance that's mostly been covered by fallen branches and underbrush. With all that there, though, I think anyone might be forgiven for mistaking it for just another pile of ruins and rubble from a destroyed civilization.

The fact that Lucas finds it is likely less to do with a keen eye and more to do with that map in his head.

I don't bother to ask to clarify it, though. It's a waste of time we don't have much of.

And also he'd absolutely take the opportunity to stop and preen about it.

For all that the entrance is overgrown and hidden, it takes barely any time to clear it out and reveal worn steps that head down into the underground.

I suppose it makes sense. At most, it'd have been only twenty years of growth and disuse hiding it. That's quite a bit in a wild place like this, but it could have been much worse if it'd been undisturbed through the war.
