**Nick Fury's POV**
---
After a day later, Nick Fury had seen some serious shit in his time, but nothing irked him more than playing politics with a bunch of self-serving council members who had their own agendas and got scared of bombing around the world, Ritsuka only destroy the hydra bases but they got so scared and ordering Shield like pizza delivery to find the people who is behind this bombing incident.
Cowards, Fury never liked people like them to have Government power. Hydra had embedded itself deep within SHIELD, and now it seemed they were meddling with forces beyond their understanding—again. He had already made it clear to Maria Hill and Phil Coulson: trust no one, not even the person sitting next to you in the damn cafeteria.
After all, when you're surrounded by snakes, it's best to keep your cards close to your chest.
Fury adjusted his eye patch as he sat behind his desk, Hill standing at attention beside him while Coulson was at Tony house, playing the long game. They had all returned to the grind as if nothing was wrong, but that was the act. Hydra couldn't know that he was onto them—not yet.
"So," Fury said, breaking the silence in the room, "we've got a problem."
Hill nodded, her expression as steely as ever. "We intercepted a report from NASA. They've identified some kind of cosmic cloud approaching Earth's atmosphere. The council ordered a space team to analyze it without running it by us first."
Fury felt his blood pressure spike. "Damn Hydra. They're trying to get their hands on whatever that cloud is. If they think they can use it to make more super soldiers, they're dumber than I thought."
Hill continued, her voice low and calm. "They convinced the council to launch the project by playing up the fear of mutants and the latest Attack on world wide. How shameless to use hydra bases destruction as mutants terrorists attack. Same old Hydra tricks."
Fury leaned back in his chair, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "They want another Fantastic Four incident, but on their terms this time. Only difference is, they want to turn it into a weapon."
Hill's phone buzzed with an incoming message. She glanced at it, then looked up at Fury. "Council's just ordered to gave results on all experiments of Tesseract. It's seems they are insistent to get more power. We need a reason to stop this, something that Hydra won't see through."
Fury didn't hesitate. He already thought a idea."Lets go with this. The Tesseract might react to this cosmic cloud. Could cause a chain reaction—who knows what that would do. Get me Reed Richards."
Hill's eyebrows raised slightly, but she didn't question it. She knew Fury had his ways of getting what he needed, and if he needed Reed Richards, she'd make it happen.
Within minutes, Fury was on a secure line with Reed. He could almost hear the man's brain working through the phone as he explained the situation.
"Reed, I need details on this cosmic cloud. What are we dealing with?"
Richards' voice was clipped and impatient. "How the hell did you get this number?"
Fury smirked, though there was no humor in it. "I'm Nick Fury. Now talk."
Reed sighed but complied. "It's not like the cloud that gave us our powers. This one… it's different. Dangerous. If I were you, I'd tell your people to stay the hell away from it."
Fury nodded, more to himself than to Reed. "That's all I needed to hear. Thanks, Reed. You've been very helpful."
"Wait—" Reed began, but Fury had already cut the line. He turned to Hill. "That's our excuse. The Tesseract and the cloud might react to each other. Shut down all experiments."
Hill nodded, already typing out the order. "Hydra spies won't question it. They'll think we're just being cautious."
"Good," Fury muttered, but his satisfaction was short-lived. Another call came through, this time from the U.S. government.
Fury listened, his expression darkening by the second. "You're telling me the damn rocket you sent to analyze the cloud got stuck in space? And you want me to call Xavier to help save your astronauts?"
The government official on the other end stammered a reply, but Fury had already heard enough. He slammed the phone down, his frustration bubbling to the surface.
"motherfuckers" he hissed. "First, they go behind my back, and now they want me to clean up their mess."
Hill raised an eyebrow. "You're going to call Xavier?"
Fury took a deep breath, then nodded. "I don't like it, but we're in a corner here. If Xavier can help, we'll use him. But this is Hydra's doing, no doubt about it. We need to figure out who's pulling the strings on this cosmic cloud operation. And when we do…"
He left the threat hanging in the air, but Hill knew what it meant. Fury didn't make threats—he made promises.
Fury picked up the phone again, dialing Xavier's number with the kind of determination that came from years of experience dealing with the worst of humanity—and surviving. Xavier's help was their best shot at keeping this mess contained. If he could pull those astronauts out of the fire, maybe—just maybe—they'd have some leverage to deal with Hydra's latest scheme shit.
"Xavier," Fury growled into the phone when it was answered. "We've got a problem. And I need your help."
The mission was clear: save the astronauts, shut down Hydra's plans, and keep the world from falling apart—again. And if Nick Fury had anything to say about it, that's exactly what was going to happen.

**Ritsuka's POV:**
The Xavier Institute loomed ahead, its grand architecture a symbol of both power and refuge. Ritsuka Fujimaru, with Karen nestled comfortably in his arms, approached the entrance with a clear purpose. His companions followed closely behind, their expressions a mix of curiosity and determination. As they stepped inside, they were met by Professor Xavier himself.
"Welcome," Xavier greeted warmly, his eyes lingering on Karen with a soft smile. "A magician and his family… how rare and extraordinary. I never thought magic is real. and here I am seeing magicians. We are deeply grateful for what you've done for us, especially in such dire times."
Karen looked up at the Professor with wide eyes, and he reached into his desk, pulling out a small bar of chocolate. "For you, young lady."
Morgan instinctively moved closer, her protective instincts flaring, but she relaxed when she saw the harmlessness in Xavier's gesture. Karen hesitated only briefly before accepting the treat with a shy smile. Morgan gave a slight nod, allowing it, and Karen eagerly began unwrapping the chocolate.
"Thank you, Professor," Ritsuka said, inclining his head slightly. "But I'm afraid our visit isn't just for pleasantries. There's something we need to discuss—something that could affect not just you, but the entire world."
Xavier's expression grew serious. "What is it, Ritsuka? Is it about hydra?"
"Something similar scale but more dangerous situation. I need to speak with your team. Could you gather Scott, Beast, Ororo, Jean, Colossus, Rogue, Kitty, and Nightcrawler? It's important that they hear this too."
Xavier nodded in understanding and, with a thought, sent out a telepathic call. Within minutes, the requested X-Men arrived in the room, each offering their own greetings. Scott Summers was the first to arrive, and his eyes lit up when he saw Da Vinci.
"Da Vinci," Scott said with a smile. "It's good to see you again."
Da Vinci smirked playfully, her eyes gleaming with mischief. "Scott, always the serious one. You need to smile more! It does wonders for the soul, you know."
Scott chuckled lightly, shaking his head. "I'll keep that in mind."
Meanwhile, Kitty Pryde had gravitated toward Karen, her youthful energy a perfect match for the little girl's curiosity. "Hey there, cutie," Kitty said with a grin, kneeling down to Karen's level. "Wanna see something cool?"
Karen nodded enthusiastically, and Kitty phased her hand through a nearby wall, eliciting a gasp of amazement from the child. Morgan watched closely, but when she saw how much Karen was enjoying herself, she relaxed again, letting the two bond.
Once everyone was gathered, Ritsuka began to speak. "Thank you all for coming. What I'm about to say is difficult, but it's something we need to address now, before it's too late."
The X-Men exchanged glances, the seriousness in Ritsuka's voice capturing their full attention.
Karen sat on Ereshkigal lap and morgan beside her.
"Many years back, at early stage of humanity. Gods are walking with humans. One of them is a goddess of rebirth and creation. She took a human as a vessel and helped humans while dealing with evil monsters. And her name is "
"The Phoenix Force," Ritsuka continued, his gaze moving to Jean, "is returning in present time after all these years later. And it's seeking a host."
Jean flinched slightly, her hands tightening around the armrests of her chair. "The Phoenix…" she whispered, the name alone sending a shiver down her spine.
Colossus said "you mean gods are real?"
"Hmm, yes but they are not like you imagine" Ritsuka said
Xavier leaned forward, his concern evident. "What do you know about the Phoenix, Ritsuka? Why this name making Jean fear?"
"More than I ever wanted to know," Ritsuka replied, his tone grim. "Gaia, the spirit of the earth, sent me visions—visions of a time long past, when gods walked the earth and the Phoenix was one of them. The Phoenix destroyed evil beings in past, and is a friend of gaia."
Rogue said "Okay, if we believe this story. Then isn't phonix is good goddess, so why should we fear."
" You are missing key point, Rogue. It's about the vessel which becomes the host for the goddess. What happens if a evil person becomes host for the phonix."Beast said, now they understood what Ritsuka trying to say.
Da Vinci thought this is pseudo servants concept and surprised this world also follows same rule.
Ritsuka didn't say anything because phonix is neither good nor evil.
"Is the host is a X-Men? I knew it was me. I'm a goddess.," Ketty said as she thought she is goddess.
Nightcrawler trying to stop laughing.
Karna said said "it doesn't matter if the host is X-Men or not. We should support the host and protect them. May be they could become great Power to save the earth in future or they could become disaster and end the world."
The room fell into a heavy silence, the weight of Ritsuka's and karna's words sinking in. "I'm not here to frighten you," Ritsuka added quickly. "I'm here to help. And to prove that I'm telling the truth, I won't stop you from looking into my mind."Xavier and Jean exchanged a glance. "Are you sure about that?" Xavier asked cautiously.Ritsuka nodded. "I trust you."Xavier closed his eyes, reaching out with his mind to touch Ritsuka's thoughts. But before he could delve too deep, he encountered a dark, protective force—Dantes, the Count of Monte Cristo, shielding Ritsuka's mind from intrusion. Ritsuka raised a hand, signaling Dantes to stand down. "It's alright," he said softly, addressing both Dantes and Xavier.
"I'm not your enemy, Professor."To everyone's surprise, a faint telepathic connection sparked between Ritsuka and Xavier—a brief flash of shared power.
Ritsuka's mind inadvertently copied Xavier's abilities, and suddenly, the room was filled with a vivid projection of the dream Gaia had sent him. Now Ritsuka have xavior mind powers with him.
The X-Men watched in awe as the vision unfolded—a fiery bird, the Phoenix, soaring through the sky, its flames consuming everything in its path. In the heart of the inferno stood a figure that bore an uncanny resemblance to Jean Grey, her eyes glowing with the same fiery intensity. Beside her were ancient heroes, including Odin Borson, who had once fight with Phoenix alongside in a distant past. As the vision faded, the room was plunged into silence once more.
Jean's face was pale, her voice trembling. "I've seen it… in my dreams. A bird of fire… calling to me."
Xavier's expression was one of deep contemplation. "And this vision came from Gaia herself?" he asked.
Ritsuka nodded. "Yes. I'm a priest of Gaia, and she's warned me of the Phoenix's return. It's connected to you, Jean. And we need to be prepared."
After seeing this and confirming Ritsuka telling truth. They believed Ritsuka words.
Scott stepped forward, his voice filled with concern. "So what do we do?"
Ritsuka paused, then looked directly at Xavier. "The first step is to remove the blocks you placed on Jean's mind."
The room fell into a stunned silence. Jean's eyes widened in shock, her voice trembling as she spoke. "What… what blocks?"
The X-Men, unaware of this revelation, turned to Xavier in disbelief. Anger began to brew among them, especially in Scott, whose loyalty to Jean was unwavering. "You did what, Professor?" Scott's voice was sharp, a mixture of hurt and outrage.
Ororo's voice was equally stern. "Charles, how could you? How could you hide something like this from us—*from Jean*?"
The accusations hung heavy in the air, each word a dagger aimed at Xavier. Jean's sense of betrayal was palpable, her gaze shifting between Xavier and Ritsuka, seeking answers.
"Enough," Ritsuka's voice cut through the tension, his tone calm yet commanding. "This isn't the time to turn against each other. Professor Xavier did what he thought was best to protect Jean. We need to understand that."
Xavier, visibly affected by the collective Disappointment of his team, turned to Ritsuka, his voice tinged with confusion and regret. "How… how did you know about this? I told no one."
Ritsuka met his gaze with understanding. "Because I'm a priest of Gaia, I have knowledge enough to understand Jean situation. A father tries his best to protect his daughter. I'm sure you were only trying to help a young Jean."
For a moment, Xavier's expression softened. He nodded slowly, as if acknowledging the truth in Ritsuka's words. "Yes, I… I wanted to shield her from the her powers, she lost control over her power at that time. And i don't have any choice."
Ritsuka sighed, his thoughts briefly turning to his own experiences. "It reminds me of someone I know—Alter Ego Tiamat, my mother. She was overprotective, and while it came from a place of love, it also brought great danger. There's a line between protecting someone and smothering them. Children need to grow, to find their own path once they become adults."
Xavier's worry for Jean was still evident, his eyes filled with concern. "But… what if removing the blocks brings her more pain? What if it breaks her?"
Ritsuka's gaze hardened, his voice taking on a more serious tone. "Pain is a part of life, Professor. It's something we all have to face, and Jean is no exception. You can't keep her sheltered forever. If she's going to face the Phoenix, she needs to be whole—not shackled by blocks that limit her."
Xavier looked conflicted, torn between his desire to protect Jean and the harsh truth that Ritsuka was presenting. The room remained silent, the weight of the decision pressing down on everyone.
Finally, Ritsuka stepped closer to Xavier, his voice lowering but remaining firm. "Professor, I understand your fear as a father. But if you don't remove those blocks, the Phoenix could tear Jean apart. She needs to be strong enough to face it mentally, and that means she needs to be herself—fully."
Xavier took a deep breath, his hands trembling slightly as he considered Ritsuka's words. The rest of the X-Men waited, their anger simmering down but their concern still evident. He saw Ritsuka and his daughter Karen then he closed his eyes.
After what felt like an eternity, Xavier nodded, his decision made. "You're right, Ritsuka. Jean… I'm sorry. I'll remove the blocks."
Jean, still processing everything, looked at Xavier with a mixture of emotions—anger, sadness, and a hint of understanding. "Do it," she said quietly, her voice steady despite the turmoil within her. But just before Xavier began, she hesitated and asked, "Professor… Am I really family to you?"
Xavier's eyes softened, and he reached out to her, his voice full of warmth. "Yes, Jean. You've always been like a daughter to me. Everything I did was to protect you, even if it wasn't always the right choice. But please believe me when I say it was done out of love."
The anger within Jean began to fade, replaced by a deep, emotional understanding. She gave a small nod, her resolve firming. "Then do it. I'm ready."
With a heavy heart, Xavier reached out with his mind, focusing on the mental barriers he had placed in Jean's psyche so many years ago. With a gentle, but deliberate effort, he began to dismantle them, piece by piece.
As the blocks fell away, Jean gasped as her powers surged within her, stronger and more vibrant than ever before. She felt a clarity she hadn't had in years, and along with it came memories—memories she had buried deep, memories she hadn't wanted to face.
She remembered her past, her parents' fear when they discovered she was a mutant, how they had tried to sell her to Hydra agents, abandoning her to a fate she could barely comprehend. The betrayal of her own family, the loneliness, the fear—it all came rushing back, but now, in the light of everything she knew, she saw it for what it was. But in that darkness, there had been a light—Xavier. He had taken her in, protected her from Hydra, and loved her like the daughter she had never truly been to her biological parents.
Tears welled up in Jean's eyes as the full weight of these realizations settled in. She looked at Xavier, her voice breaking as she whispered, "You really did protect me… like a father."
Unable to hold back her emotions any longer, Jean moved forward and hugged Xavier tightly, tears streaming down her face. "Thank you… for everything."
Xavier embraced her, a mixture of relief and sadness on his face. "I'm so sorry, Jean. I never wanted to cause you pain. I just wanted to keep you safe."
Ritsuka, watching the scene unfold, couldn't help but smile. The father-daughter issue had found its resolution, at least for now. It was a moment of healing, of reconnection, something that had been a long time coming.
As the tension in the room began to ease and the truth about the Phoenix Force settled in, the sudden ringing of a phone broke the silence. Xavier answered, his expression growing serious as he listened to the voice on the other end.
After a few moments, he hung up and turned to the group. "That was Shield agent. There's a situation in space—a team of astronauts is trapped due to a malfunction in their spacecraft, and he's asked for our help."
The X-Men immediately understood the gravity of the situation. Jean, now more in control of her powers, looked to Xavier for guidance.
"We need to act quickly," Xavier said, his tone commanding. "Jean, Ororo, Scott, and Kurt, prepare to leave immediately. We'll need your powers to safely retrieve the astronauts."
As the teams prepared for their mission, Ritsuka stepped forward, his expression serious. "Listen carefully, everyone. That cosmic cloud in space—it's not just some random anomaly. It's connected to the Phoenix Force."
The X-Men looked at him in shock, the weight of his words settling in. Jean's eyes widened as she realized the full extent of what they were about to face.
"You need to prepare," Ritsuka continued, his gaze locking with Jean's. "This could be the beginning of the Phoenix's awakening. We can't afford any mistakes."
Jean took a deep breath, nodding as she steeled herself. "I understand. We'll be ready."
Scott nodded in agreement. "Let's do this. We'll save the astronauts and then we'll deal with whatever comes next."
Ritsuka then turned to Karna, who had been silently observing. "Karna, I need you to go with them. Help them to get through this safely."
Karna gave a solemn nod, his eyes reflecting the gravity of the situation. "I will do what must be done, Master."
With their roles set, the teams gathered, ready to embark on the mission. Jean, now more determined than ever, led the way, with Karna at her side. They went to the spacecraft place, and then they went to space.
Ritsuka let out a quiet sigh of relief. Despite the tension and the stakes, he couldn't help but feel a small sense of triumph. He had been afraid that things might spiral out of control, but for now, everything seemed to be alright.
Ritsuka gave farewell to xavior before He got phone number from xavior. Then Ritsuka took Morgan, Ereshkigal and karen back to his Tony house.
