Chapter 197

“Really what are you going to do?” Bridget ask thinking that maybe Christy did not understand what Paul and his friends are trying to.

“I just want you guys and Patrick to leave then Paul is going to tell me exactly where he spent the night. Because I am not buying into this bullshit, he bought me these beautiful jewelries just to confirm the fact that he is guilty of something.”

“But if you ask me I will say just forgive him, he knows that his wrong so that is why he bought you this gift, just forgive him.”

“You think that’s the right thing to do?”

“Yes, I mean your pregnant, you can’t go about fighting him, just let it go.”

“Ok, let me see if I can try to let it go, but he is going to tell me where he slept, because I’m not leaving him just like that.”

She walked back to the guys smiling as if she didn't know what is going on.

 She took everything away and the guys left the house with Paul pretending to go to work because he didn’t know if Christy will just start. So he used that opportunity to run to his office.

Bianca keep calling Paul's number requesting for so many things making it difficult for Paul to concentrate and threatening to come to the house. But since Paul don’t want that he always find a way of meeting up to Bianca's demand.

Paul came back and was afraid to look at Christy, she confronted him with the question that Paul was fighting so hard to avoid. He thought it was over because Christy was shouting at the top of her voice”

“But I just told you that I had it a flat tire and i ran out of battery.

“And you are expecting me to believe that Cock and Bull story?, Paul tell that to children not me”.

 Paul find it difficult that Christy no longer believes him so easily, and she no longer forgive him easily like that. If it were before she would have forgiven him but again he thought maybe it’s the pregnancy.

“Can we just forget about this argument?, because I'm tired. I'm just coming back from work”.

“Oh yes, you are always tired these days and I don’t know why, are you the one pregnant?, I am the one pregnant and you are the one always getting tired why?” Christy keeps shouting at Paul making it hard for him to stay in the house.

The next day Christy ask Paul not to leave the house.

“Why?”

“What are you going to do at the office?, After all you are not the one doing the work, you are paying heavily for people to do the work so why do you always go to the office. Even if you’re not in the office the work will still be done so you are not going anywhere today”

“You don't understand, I still need to be at the office even if I'm not the one doing the physical job”
