A New Threat

I stand at the forefront of the adventurers' guild, the emergency bell still echoing in my ears. The air is thick with tension as the adventurers and soldiers gather around, waiting for instructions. My heart pounds with a mix of fear and determination. This is what I've been training for, and now it's time to prove myself once again.

"We need to form a plan," I say, my voice steady despite the turmoil inside. "First, we need to evacuate the nearby villages. Make sure the civilians are safe. Then, we organize our defenses at the outskirts of the kingdom."

Alice Arison steps forward, her eyes fierce with determination. "I'll lead a group to evacuate the villages. We can't let any innocents get caught in the crossfire."

"Thank you, Alice," I reply, grateful for her quick thinking. "The rest of us will prepare for battle. We need to identify the leader of this monster horde and take it down. If we can eliminate the source, the rest will scatter."
