Chapter 19: Ambush

Okay turns out the chapters I normally write are kinda long, I try to write over a thousand words maybe two thousand words a chapter for each of my fan fics, this normally leads me to burn out when I'm deep into the story so I'll try write less sorry for this you may drop if you want now.

Snow:"Dawn did what now!!"

Luffy:"She left! I guess she didn't like me spitting on chivalry and all that crap!" said Luffy as he took a sip from his drink. Snow however had sad look on her face as her ear fell down, Skipper though petted her.

Skipper:"It's okay I thinks it's for the best, she have something she strongly believes in is right and she cares for having fair fights, Luffy don't care and is willing to kick a man in the balls to ensure victory." said Skipper as she hugged, the white haired dog girl.

Snow:"Okay!" She said sadly she and Dawn became friends as she did with Luffy and Skipper, she will miss being in the same party with her.

Luffy:"Still kinda bummed out she left town without telling us, so what if we're not in the same party we're still friends aren't we!" Luffy slammed his fist in the table. It's been a while since Dawn left the party, Luffy's name has continued to spread across the land like wild fire due to his display of power and how he won a war with only a few hundred men.

-With Dawn-

Dawn was at the exit of the town, she walked off with her bag slung over her shoulder and sword at her hip, she planned on moving and travelling again to hone her swordsmanship.

Dawn:"This is normal Dawn, I don't want to cause any future problems for them down the line, it's best to just go." She walked off without another word after a few hours of walking she found a clearing where she rested.

She set her sword and began to strip herself of her armour, as she took them off you could see her muscles along her body.

*Thew!* An arrow flew at high speeds towards her but *Clang!* Dawn managed to parry it. She got up and her sword up.

Dawn:"Show yourself fiend!" Many men in black showed with daggers in hand and crossbows. They were approximately 13 in total, 5 ranged fighters the rest melee fighters. Three of them ran towards Dawn and attacked her but she managed duck and rook away from them, but another came from behind she blocked the attack and kicked the assailant in the gut sending him flying through a tree.

The others seeing this got on guard, the archers loaded their crossbows and fired off a few arrows towards Dawn who dodged in time and went for one of the men in black, she came toward him with a downward strike, her opponent tried to block the strike, but his blade broke and he got dealt with a critical blow.

Dawn blocked an attack from one of the masked assailants wbut another came from behind her, so she shifted her body slightly to side and dodged the blow she then kicked her opponent, while she of overpowered the one she's currently clashing blades with.

Dawn:"[Flame Slash!]" her blade set ablaze as she sliced through the blade of her opponent and also killed him in one fell swoop, she dodged a few more arrow shots and parried a few more attacks from the close range fighters, but one of the arrows grazed her skin.

Dawn:'Damn! I'm not going down here!' she got up and rushed towards the nearest assassin and attacked him but she suddenly felt numb and she fell to the floor. Looking at her harm which was wounded, it a greenish hue around it.

Dawn:"Poison!"

???:"Well of course dear sister you were being trained by an S-rank, so we had to take precautions." said a young man with blonde hair and blue eyes was wearing extremely fancy clothes, he had a smirk on huge face.

Dawn:"Claudius! But how!?" This young man Claudius Laxinia, he's the elder brother of Dawn.

Claudius:"It wasn't hard finding you sister, we had few men spy on you from a far and I must say you've made quite the progress."

Dawn:"But why didn't you fight me fairly, aren't we from a family of Knights? What about our chivalry out honor!?" she said as she despaired.

Claudius:"Do you think I'm some kind of idiot?"

Dawn:"What?"

Claudius:"Why should I care about something as stupid as that something like that would just get me killed, only fool would worry over honor are pride and why would I fight someone who was trained by an S-class!"

Claudius:"Truly your nothing but muscles no brains at all, no wonder your the shame of the Laxinia family barely any talent in magic and swordsmanship." he whipped his hair with his hand as he ended his sentence with an huff. With each of his words Dawn clenched her fist tears streamed from her eyes as she stood up and grabbed her sword.

Dawn:"[Sonic Pierce!]" [Sonic Pierce] is another variant of [Speed Slash] but more powerful. In a burst of speed Dawn shot off like bullet at her brother barely managed block the attack, suprised marked his face as he was launched a few meters way and into a tree.

Claudius:"YOU BITCH!" He got into stance ready to kill his sister mana was surging off of his body but he was stopped with a hand on his shoulder, behind him stood a handsome man with black hair and blue eyes, they were cold blue colour, he was equipped with silver and blue armour.

Claudius:"Jeremiah!" said Claus as he gulped down his dry saliva.
