At School V

Reading the paper, I thought of faking it, but then remembering what I said before, and my past results, a sigh escaped my lips. The paper was too easy for me who knew college-level Maths, and I could solve all the questions with at least three different methods.

"Screw it!" I muttered as I started to solve the questions and minutes later, I sensed Shizuka appearing beside me and looking at my paper.

"Hehe! Looks like I got my assistant," She said in a low voice and left the place, and seeing this, a sigh escaped my lips and I solved all the questions in the paper in fifteen minutes and lay down on the desk.

The paper had 10 questions, 2 of them from Quadratic Equations, one of them from the nature of roots, three of them that required making graphs and a bit of geometry, 2 of them from calculus and 2 of them from stats and probability.

As I put my head on the desk, the paper was taken by Shizuka, who had arrived in my seat and flicked my head.

"Ouch!" I said as I held my head and felt the strength of this woman, who laughed at me and said, "When were you going to submit the paper? You do remember what I said, right?"

"Yeah, I do. I was about to submit, not like anyone will be ahead of me." I muttered and the smile on her face widened.

"Hehe! It seems you do know about this paper's abnormality. The class will be interesting with you around."

"Hmm? Sensei, Are you married?" I suddenly asked as I looked at her and saw her eyes twitching.

"Why would you ask that?"

"Your words were a bit ambiguous before, don't you think? Mine, Mine and Mine? If I didn't know about being an assistant and you being a teacher, I would have thought..." I stopped in the middle as I felt a hand on my shoulder, and looking at her face, I gulped.

Shizuka had a 'very beautiful and sweet smile' on her face and she said, "In the lunch, meet me in the Student Counselling Room."

Saying this, she pressed my shoulder a little and left the room, and I saw Akeno, Tsubaki and Rias looking at me with pity in their eyes.

'Fuck!' I cursed inwardly while putting my hands on my face and seeing this, Shizuka chuckled and thought, 'Haha! It was like I was talking to someone of my age, instead of a kid in High School.'

"Good luck," I heard from behind and I nodded and said, "Thanks, I will need it."

"Hmm! But I didn't expect that you were a genius in maths." Rias continued and I didn't say anything.

"Do you think you can teach me later?"

"Huh?" I said as I looked behind and asked with a confused look on my face.

"Last year, some stuff happened in the school and because of this, This year's batch is considered to be worse by others. Not only that, even...."

"Rias, Did you forget what was agreed before? You aren't allowed to talk about those things that happened last year." Shizuka said as she looked at Rias, and hearing this, my mouth twitched and I wondered how she could listen to us, even though Rias was talking in a low voice and we were at the last bench.

"I wasn't talking about..."

"I know. But he won't have time to deal with your matters." Shizuka and then she looked at her watch and said, "Time's up! Everyone, take the sheets I am giving and for those who have one, switch with others.

Everyone received the papers in class and I looked at the sheet in my hand and saw it was of a girl named Tsubame Koyasu.

"For the first question, if the answer is 2 and -7, mark it correct. For the second question, if the answer is.....For the last question, if the answer is 1/3 mark it correct."

"Everyone done?" She asked and they nodded.

"Even though I already knew who was going to my assistant, I will ask the person who was holding Minato's sheet to announce the result."

Souna Shitori stood up on the sheet and with a shocked expression on her face, she said, "Minato Namikaze, Full marks!"

Everyone's expression changed as they heard this and looked at Minato with a stunned expression. Seeing this, I smiled at them and said, "Like I said before, being first as usual."

"Now Now! No need to get arrogant, but Yeah! I will also commend you for getting full marks on the test. Though, Minato, I want to ask, How do you know the other methods? Have you already studied everything before, or..."

"Yeah, I have! I was bored so I studied everything." I said while thinking that I wouldn't be bothered by it but looking at the grin on her face, I had a bad feeling.

"Wonderful! If you had already studied, then it would make everything easier."

"Do you guys know that even if the questions look like they are out of the syllabus, all of them could be solved by what you learned in the past year?"

"Do you think I will give you questions about what you all will learn this year? Tch! You guys, now tell, me how many of you scored nine marks."

No one raised their hand, and Shizuka continued, "Eight!"

Two of them raised their hands and looking at this, Shizuka said, "Announce their names."

"Tsubaki Shinra."

"Souna Shitori."

Shizuka nodded at them and looked at both of them.

"You both did well. Souna, you don't need to be worried about the Student Council mess, I will do something and create a club that you can join later. Instead of council, you want to learn how to manage, and take care, right?"

Souna looked at Shizuka and nodded and seeing this, Shizuka grinned and said, "Then I have a perfect way for you. With this, you wouldn't have to worry about anything. At the end of school hours, meet me in the Studen Counselling Room."

Souna Shitori looked at her and nodded.

Shizuka looked at her watch and then looked at Minato.

"Collect the papers and take out your lunch, if you have brought them. Only three minutes are left and you all can ask whatever you want." Shizuka said as she stood with her hands folded while I looked at her with a resentful expression and collected the papers.

The girls in the class passed the papers so I didn't have to walk much, and putting the papers on the desk, I looked at Shizuka and asked, "Are these parts of the curriculum?"

"Hmm? No, but the teachers regulate everything, at least for Second Year and it will depend on our will." Shizuka said while looking at me, and I nodded as I heard this.

"If I knew, I would have joined another school..."

"But would you have been accepted in other schools?" Shizuka asked before I said anything and I became silent.

"Everyone, That's all for today. Souna, don't forget what I said, and everyone, Enjoy your lunch."

"As for you, Follow me."

She said as she walked away and I followed her with lunch in one hand and paper in another. Doing this made me remember my time as an Assistant Professor while I was in college and a sigh escaped my lips.
