Easy test
Alex chased after the beast while dodging the beams that were shot at him. He still had not seen the beast after chasing it for so long. But that was only because he did not want to catch the beast yet. After all, it would be weird for a basic mage to catch up to a warrior-level beast when the latter set its mind on escaping.
"I have to think of a way to catch it without alerting that man outside. I don't need to kill it, just exchange a few moves and pretend to be unable to last long" Alex mumbled while evading the rapidly approaching beams.
He suddenly stopped chasing and pulled back, making a few sharp turns among the tree branches before suddenly disappearing out of sight.
Alex stealthily made his way to the top of one of the branches without making a sound and stayed still when he reached his desired spot.
His eyes were as sharp as those of eagles as he surveyed his surroundings while waiting like an assassin.
