Preparing for a kick, Mr. Green then charged toward the already bleeding Lottie . The rage on his face seemed to indicate his intent to kick her to death.

Claudia's eyebrows furrowed as she wordlessly took Lottie into her arms. Her determination to protect Lottie , no matter what, was obvious! Pretending like she was not the master minder of her.

Mrs. Green dragged Lottie from Claudia's arm and roughly took her upstairs.

"So after all we did for you, you still decided to bring shame to our name right? Don't take your things and get lost!

Now unbearable to bear the pain on her face, Lottie dragged her arms away from Mrs. Green and tried to run away but

She was pushed by Mrs. Green and as she lost her balance, she ended up falling down from the stairs.

When she landed on the floor, blood was spilling all over her face and head. Now not only was her face injured, as a result of the mighty fall she also ended up hitting her brains and thus lost consciousness.

Lottie saw darkness covering her sight before passing out, she was hearing screams coming from someone and could not make out what they were saying.

"Please call the doctor!" Was the last words Lottie heard before finally giving up.

Time flew and it was nine months later.

Lightning was flashing outside and the loud thunder woke the heavily pregnant and disfigured Lottie up from her sleep.

After the inhuman treatment melted on her, her dad Mr Green had made up his mind to send her abroad before they found out she was pregnant. They had no choice but to let her be.

Now without a husband and still disfigured which affected her eye sight, Lottie was now ridiculed by everybody, worst still Jess had travel out of the country with Williams without even informing her and Lottie was now left to take care of her self without the support of her family members.

she ended up pregnant after spending the night with the stranger. Worst still, she could not remember who he was anymore because after falling off the stairs after being pushed by Mrs. Green, she lost her memories and could not remember who got her pregnant.

Now she was doomed for life.

Lottie felt a sharp pain from her stomach. She extended her hand and pressed the bell located on the bedside cabinet with all her strength.

After ringing it, she passed out.

The chef in the Green's house opened the door and when she saw the pathetic state the pregnant Lottie was in, she quickly called attention of the driver and Lottie was carried to the hospital. Because the rest of the family were not around.

"The kid's coming out!" Lottie puffed hard and could vaguely hear the loud cries of the babies. There were twins

She forced her eyes open but without being able to look at it, her babies was brought out by the nurse.

After giving birth to the twins, Lottie fell unconscious because her body was weak after childbirth.

The doctor quickly transferred her to the ward and after making sure all plans has been done, she brought out her phone and called someone.

"Hello old master Chapman, yes she just gave birth to triplets. What is the next plan now?"

"Are you sure she has the same scars on her ears like I showed you in the picture?" The person at the other end of the phone asked.

"Yes, she is. Just that her face got disfigured from an accident but don't worry about that, it doesn't disturb our plans of selling the babies to you!" The doctor said smiling.

"Good. I will transfer the rest of the money now. You know what to do with her right?" He asked.

"Yes don't worry about that. Should I give the babies to your butler now?" The doctor asked.

"Yes of course. Make it snappy so no one will figure it out. Also, like you promised you can't tell anyone about this. It's our little secrets.." the man said. "After now, resign and leave the country with the passport I sent you. We can't risk the chance of her knowing her babies were sold." Old master Chapman said.

"Don't worry about that, I will do that now. I am leaving the country after now!"

"Good!"

The call got disconnected from both sides.

When Lottie woke up, she met herself in an unknown room rather than the hospital bed.

Where was she and where were her babies?"

A light was switched on and the room became light. Before her were Mrs. Green, her husband and Claudia.

"Mum, where is my babies?" Was the first thing that came out from the weak Lottie as she struggled to stand up from the bed.

Mrs Green hissed, "Which babies? The dead one or the ones alive. First you got pregnant without knowing the father and now you lost the babies again, how unfortunate you are. You are a curse to this family. You are just a stupid country bumpkin…"

Shock was written on Lottie's face… wait, her babies… were they dead?

NO WAY! HER TWIN BABIES COULDN'T JUST DIE. NOT THE TWO OF THEM.

Lottie grabbed Mrs. Green's leg and to scream and cry loudly, "Tell me this is a lie, tell me my babies aren't dead but alive and healthy. Please I want my babies!" PLEASE!"

Yet despite this, non of them consoled her.

"Get off me, you useless child!" Mrs. Green kicked her off as the three of them walked away leaving her alone.

Now alone in her room and feeling weak, she managed to stand up and went in front of her mirror where she began throwing all the items on top of it including her makeup.

She broke the mirror while crying and pleading, "please I want my babies. Please!"

Yet all she could hear was Mrs. Green mocking tune, "I told you hubby, that girl has gone mad. It's about time we send her to the psychiatric ward haha!"

Really? She lost her babies and was this what they thought of her as? Why was she being treated cruelly like this?

Was it because Claudia was their biological daughter while she was just a girl they adopted? Could they have done this to Claudia if she was in her state?

Having scattered her room, Lottie fell down and fainted.
