CHAPTER FOUR (THE FIGHT)
When Avil came to school the next day, she noticed that her seatmate wasn't there, she shrugged her shoulders as it wasn't her business,when the break time reached, she decided to stay in class and start her assignment, as she was writing, a shadow cast over her, she looked up to see Jen and her cohorts , she ignored them and continued what she was doing, " you bitch, how dare you try to seduce my boyfriend yesterday, you thought I wouldn't notice? " Avil sighed inwardly and thought 'here we go again' seeing that Avil wasn't even giving in to her she left angrily to avoid further embarrassment, but she inwardly smiled at how she will teach her a lesson.
During lunch, Avil sat down alone at the window corner of the cafeteria, once in a while, she will lift her head survey her surrounding and went back eating her apple, pancake with honey syrup and orange juice, suddenly everyone became quite so quite you will hear a straw drop, she frowned finding it suspicious and abnormal,she raised her head in time to see a huge plate of white porridge come to her face, she was stunned but still moved out of instincts and it landed on her thighs before sliding down the ground, "next time stay away from people's boyfriend" came Jen's annoying voice, Avil froze over hands fisting at her sides, she knew this is certainly getting out if hand since she didn't do anything before but it's not too late to correct now, she stood up and before anyone could know say jack and jerry, a crisp sound was heard, some people held their faces as if they are the ones receiving the brain resetting slap, Jen was stunned, she thought that Avil is a pushover someone she can trample on, someone that pretends to be tough, but the pain tingling her cheeks has proven her wrong, she let out a shrek and pounced towards her in hope of salvaging herself but another slap, this one much harder and heavier than the other was heard, the force made her stagger and fall, her teams made to teach Avil a lesson and was rewarded each with a resounding fear inducing slaps, they immediately retreated cowardly their cheeks in their palm, Avil approached Jen who was sitting on the ground with her hand covering her swollen red cheek, she squatted down, soon a tearing sound was heard, everyone looked over to see Avil tearing her pink sweater,to use it to clean the food on her laps after making sure she is clean of the food, she started hitting Jen's head with the sorry fabric, everyone was stunned, some were surprised, others weren't, after all she is Avis's sister, that's expected,she opened her mouth and said in a very gentle warm voice used in describing a clear weather "I have warned you not to tempt me, don't see me as push over, my silence doesn't mind am stupid, or easily bullied, am just bidding my time, I warned you, now look what you made me do, am not happy about this, how could you make me do this, huh, sweetie? " Jen immediately got up, she and her cohorts shivering in fear and running away but Avil's next words stopped them on their heels, " wait, Jen, you forget your cloth, thanks for lending it to me that food was quite sticky but it came off", she smiled warmly at them throwing the cloth at them it landed accurately on Jen's pretty face, she walked back to her seat and continued eating like nothing happened, everyone present was filled with mixed feelings, some happy because Jen has been a notorious bully and someone needed show her her place, some scared that Avil might turn out to be an even bigger bully than Jen, some filled with admiration, Avil's small feat went round the school from the cafeteria to each classes, everyone started secretly calling her 'smiling devil' .
Victor and Samuel with two others namely Adams and Ethan were on the rooftop discussing,when Victor brought up what happened at the cafeteria " I never knew the new girl had it in her" he said as he recalls what happened in his mind,
"she is Avis's sister, what do you expect" Samuel said "she never responded till today and gosh, that was really hot" Ethan said smiling "she never wanted to but I think the locker incident ticked her off finally" Victor said again, as if remembering something he smirked "I think there will be a lot of drama from now on" the others looked at themselves then back to him giving him a 'what do you mean' eyes, he laughed and said "just wait for it" they all kept quite , wheels turning their head.
When Avil and Avis got home, their parents welcomed them back and after eating, she went to her room, it was covered with black and white wallpaper, the study table and chair at the window side, her wardrobe at the end of the wall, the vanity mirror stand beside it, her bed close to the study table, the room was spacious with less belongings, she doesn't like her room being stuffy and full, some paintings and pictures of her can be seen hanging on the walls, she laid down on her bed, facing the ceiling, she mulled over what happened that day,she hoped that will make them stay away not come at her again, she honestly doesn't have energy for air brain kids, well time will tell.
The next day, she woke up in a good mood, she prepared quickly urging her brother to do so, when they reached they high-fived and took separate hallways, some student adjusted from her avoiding her, she didn't mind at all at least some peace around her, she opened her locker cautiously,she has been careful after the last incident and wouldn't want a repeat, after taking what she wanted she headed to class, just to hear someone calling her name angrily,she ignored the person to avoid souring her good mood but then the person shouted really loud , "AVIL CROSS, STOP RIGHT THERE" she turned surprised why the person would call her like that, just to see the school hunk approaching her steadily and fuck, he looks enraged
