Annoyed

The meeting started early, but it took a while between discussions about graduation. There were too many good proposals for the theme and decorations, among other things. Sebastian was in charge of writing down everything that was said on a chalk board embedded in the wall, making something like an alphabet soup due to all the words that he was writing quickly and messily. Zhao Wang, president of the eleventh grade third class, was the most excited about the event, even if he wasn't the one graduating that time. Although, in reality, it was planned that all the students –not just the twelfth year– would enjoy the graduation party. In addition, there was also the proposal to have the contest of king and queen of the party, to add an American movie style and that is not a typical formal party for young people of seventeen and eighteen years.

Milo, personally, was excited to apply, being the one who fully supported that idea. The previous year the same dynamic had been done, but, unfortunately, Milo had not been chosen as king. However, he wanted to try his luck again and participate again. Therefore, and not to disappoint the guy, Sebastian wanted to implement it again on that occasion, and it seemed that everyone liked the idea.

Adding in the large menu they had planned for dinner, everything seemed perfect at first glance. And, with the help of the rest of the clubs, the work would be even easier for everyone, saving too much time.

When it was time to go home, Sebastian walked to the counseling area to ask about his tutor so he could finally go home. Unfortunately, the thought of having to take someone home to hear him talk about things he fully understood caused a tic in his left eye. What type of person would you assign? It was something that, in the last few minutes, he had been constantly wondering. What if he got a psychopath who would try to kill him at all costs?

"He would do humanity a great favor", he thought as he watched as students came in and went out with papers in their hands, for a moment thinking that it was the conference and not the tutors' classroom. He showed some curiosity to know the inside of it since he did not appreciate much when the door was opened and access to who was not inside the club or whatever was allowed because, from the point of view of the black-haired boy, that was not exactly a club.

He was unaware of the exact function of this –leaving aside the fact that they taught the other students– because they did not have much participation in the events that were organized. He thought they were probably working on filing topics or doing tactics to make understanding easier and easier. However, he never got to ask the students who were in charge of that area to satisfy his curiosity about it.

But surely there was no difference between that and what the student council did. After all, both "clubs" –if he could call them like that– were based more on paperwork than any recreational activity, unlike other after-school activities. Instead, they spent it locked in a room surrounded by papers and work that grew more and more every day until they could get lost in there.

The door opened, catching Sebastian off guard, making him wince. He took a few steps back to allow the person who had left to pass through. However, he was not surprised that Nathaniel was the one with a pile of papers in his hands and wearing thick-rimmed glasses.

"Oh, Sebas," said the boy greeting without dropping any of his papers. "Are you coming for your consultancies?"

He was going to complain about the casual way of speaking to him since he was younger than him and did not consider him someone close, adding the fact that he was aware of his consultancies, which he did not care about. But he preferred to save his words before starting one more nonsense. He took a deep breath before answering. "That's right," he said, trying to contain his posture, "do you, by any chance know, who my tutor is?"

He could see how the silver-haired guy passed saliva. Nathaniel stayed in place, looking him straight in the eye, making the older one feel uncomfortable at the gaze. However, he would not allow himself to be weak and look away, which is why he also waited for his answer. From what he could gather, he knew that Nathaniel was thinking of the perfect words to answer, which he did very often, giving him an even greater air of intellectuality.

Sebastian was getting desperate. It seemed like that scene was taking hours instead of seconds. He really wanted to get out of there and get it over with as soon as possible. Maybe he was being too impatient, but he could not wait too long when he expected at least one word from the boy in front of him, who seemed like he had frozen in that moment. He came to think that he was making him wait on purpose and if it weren't for the fact that he was really willing to hold back, he would have already exploded again.

But the slightest bit of patience he tried to contain diminished as the seconds passed and Nathaniel still didn't seem to have his answer formulated. Was this some kind of game or was the boy like that every time someone asked him something? Because if that was the case, he did not understand how someone could bear him to be so slow in something that should not take so long.

He crossed his arms, drumming his left foot. His brow was furrowed and his gaze was unfriendly. The minor, on the other hand, remained undeterred.

"Are you planning to answer or...?"

"Sebas," Nathaniel interrupted, "I am in charge of your consultancies."
