Chapter 5: Elena Cloudwalker

Elena sat with dignity and poise. Her expression was cold but gentleness could be seen in her eyes. She was wearing tight clothes which had embraced her and showed her curves.

Noir sat in the opposite direction of her. An awkward silence had enveloped the room. Elena was the first to break the silence.

"I am Elena Cloudwalker and I am the owner of Cloud Bussines Group. My Group is the largest Business group in the human continent and we have traded with other races as well."

"I see, Well I am just a normal man. I go by the name Noir Origin."

"May I ask why Mr origin looking for a token to enter the Inner region?"

"It is for personal reasons."

"Well if Mr Origin is not willing to say I will not question more than this."

"Thank you for understanding Miss Cloudwalker."

"Mr Origin I have a request, I hope Mr Origin can accept this request of mine."

"This is the first time we meet but if I can I will fulfill Miss Cloudwalker's request."

"As you know a lot of men have their eyes on me, but because of my status and money, I was able to remain single up until now. But soon there is going to be a party in the Inner region and a lot of nobles are going to participate. I have Information that Duke Gale has his eyes on me and wants to force me at this party to accept him. Because of some reason, I have to attend this party. I was looking for a suitable partner to accompany me to this Party."

At this point, Noir knew what she wanted. She wanted a man to say that she was engaged to him and run away from Duck Gale.

'But the question is why me? surely it is not for my looks.'

"Miss Clouldwalker may I ask why you have chosen me for this matter? I am sure a lot of men would kill to be with such a beautiful and wealthy woman."

"Well, Mr Origin I have chosen you because I have a feeling you were the right choice the moment you stepped inside the Tower. Also, Mr Origin is the most handsome man I have seen to this day."

"In terms of beauty, no one can compete with Lady Clouldwalker. But surely that is not all the reason, is it?"

Elena raised one of her eyebrows in surprise.

"Yes. You are right. The other reason is that Mr Origin is like a ghost. there is no family or friend or information about you. So the duke would not be able to harm your close ones, And I will protect Mr Origin from the duke."

'So she is a kind one huh? thinking about my family and friends.'

Noir impression of Elena increased.

"Are you not curious where I have come from? Or Who am I? What am I?"

"Surly I am curious and I have a feeling Mr Origin is not a human. But we all have our secrets, Am I right?" Elena said with a smile.

"May I ask What is this feeling which you are talking about?"

"I am very sensitive to the aura and feelings of others from childhood, it allows me to understand them better. and I can also understand the future."

"Understand Future?"

"Indeed, I can not see the future but I get a feeling about what is going to happen."

"Miss Cloudwlaker may I ask about..."

As Elena and Noir engaged in conversation, a spark ignited between them, their words dancing in the air with a palpable energy. Elena's eyes betrayed her interest, a subtle invitation hidden within their azure depths. With a soft smile, she leaned in closer, her curiosity piqued by the enigmatic aura surrounding Noir.

"Would you care to join me for a cup of coffee?"

she ventured, her voice carrying a hint of anticipation. Noir, captivated by Elena's charm, couldn't resist the allure of her invitation.

"I would be delighted," he replied, a faint smile playing on his lips.

Elena took a sip of her coffee, the warmth spreading comfort through her veins.

"So, tell me more about yourself, Noir," she said, her eyes bright with curiosity.

This time she used 'Noir' showing how much closer they have become.

Noir leaned forward, his expression earnest. "Well, I've always been drawn to mysteries, Power, and Immortality" he confessed, his gaze meeting hers.

"But lately, I've found myself more intrigued by the mysteries of the heart."

With this, he showed his interest in Elena.

Elena smiled, feeling a connection blooming between them.

"I understand," she replied softly.

"There's something beautiful about unraveling the layers of someone's soul and heart."

As they continued to talk, the space between them seemed to shrink, each word bringing them closer together. In that cozy office, amidst the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, their bond deepened, weaving a tale of unexpected romance.

"Why are you not drinking your coffee Noir? It is getting cold."

"Well, Elena I don't need to eat or drink like Mortals."

Noir said with a warm smile.

"My body will refuse this kind of food or drink. They simply taste horrible."

After becoming a Vampire one can only drink blood. other foods will taste horrible.

Elena glanced at Noir, her curiosity getting the better of her.

"So, Noir, I've been meaning to ask... what's your race?"

Noir hesitated, his gaze flickering briefly before meeting hers. "Well, Elena, it's not something I usually share with others, but since you've been so open with me..." he trailed off, choosing his words carefully.

"I'm... different," he finally admitted, his tone tinged with a hint of uncertainty. "I'm a vampire."

"A vampire?"

"yes, This race... does not exist in Yahrnam and I am the only one of my race."

Elena became even more interested. her Blue eyes shining with an ethereal light adding to her charm.

"Tell me about your race."

"We are immortal or at least that is what I am."

"Immortal? meaning you will never age and die?"

"Yes."

"Even Transcendent Realm cultivators are not immortals. that is something great. And many pay any price for it. Is there anything else ?"

"Well, there are a lot of things. first, let me tell you about..."

As Noir slowly opened up about his nature, Elena listened intently, her questions gentle and non-judgmental. And as the conversation unfolded, she realized that despite their differences, their connection only grew stronger, transcending the boundaries of race or species. At that moment, Elena knew that whatever Noir was, he was still the same person she had come to like.
