First Plan

The seven members had gathered in front of the long table and took their seats. There was one empty seat left and it made the seniors ask questions.

"Where's Clare?" Louis asked the three girls in the opposite row.

Zoya shrugs. "Being Sleeping Beauty. Luke said not to take her along anyway. So we left it there."

"Why?" Louis asked again and now his eyes were on Luke. As a representative, Clare should have joined.

"It has to do with Clare. You dare to expose it now?" Luke retorted coldly.

All silent. No one else dared to ask because Clare's absence had been answered briefly. It's just the question, why should it be a secret to Clare? If Clare found out and wanted to act alone and trouble the other team, it would be a big problem. Luke didn't want to take any chances let alone see what Clare did last night.

"We can no longer monitor Vrochis' movements. The tracker went off and is now hanging around the academy. During these few days, Vrochis tried to get close to Clare again. Last night I felt his presence, Clare was also there getting closer to Vrochis. Vrochis disturbs Clare mentally, that's why if you look at Clare it's not like it used to be."

The trio of girls looked at each other. What happened exactly, they don't know for sure. So far all they have noticed is that Clare is fine, apart from being alone or empty, nothing else is visible. If Vrochis bothered him again, why wouldn't Jules who was sensitive to the situation or Zoya who could manipulate him know? Vrochis' target is Clare and it's locked. If Vrochis' power was much greater, it was only natural that they didn't feel it.

"How to find it again? So far we haven't seen his movements and everything feels normal," said Xavier. "If it really was an academy, he should be able to disguise himself as anyone."

"Do you think it's good to leave Clare alone in the room? Even if there are Chasper and Thumbelina, but still Vrochis' mental attack will affect Clare." Blaire was worried.

"Professor Armstrong is protecting our dormitory, any monster will not dare to enter. At least only his strength could enter, but that was impossible. How come Vrochis is standing in front of the door like a beggar, where is his reputation!" Jules chuckled as she leaned back in a relaxed manner. To him, letting Clare in the room was a good thing.

"I think we have to do something. Lure him out of the dormitory so as not to hurt other students and take him to the forbidden forest. Even if it's difficult, we can use Clare to lure him." said Erik. "We divide the duties to protect Clare while in the forbidden forest, how about it?"

"Stupid, you want to kill her?" Jules growled and threw the notebook in Eryk's face. "I am very familiar with the forbidden forest. Not only Vrochis will attack but other monsters, you want to kill us all! If you die I don't care!"

Eryk was taken aback by Jules' statement. He knew that there were a lot of monsters in the forbidden forest, but he didn't mean that at all. He thought with the strength of the team, it would be easy to save Clare from there.

"Eryk's idea wasn't bad, but it was only temporary. Jules wasn't wrong either," Luke said still in an even tone. "Eryk thinks that we will all make it out alive from the forbidden forest and return to the academy intact after avoiding danger. However, Jules also said something negative. Not all of us have the ability to fly or maximum speed, the slightest mistake will be fatal whether whoever it is will be injured or die. I also thought, if the process was successful, it would only last a few days. Vrochis would easily reenter the academy or even worse than enter the academy. The Forbidden Forest had top monsters and some were no match for Vrochis. Vrochis will hunt them down and increase their abilities substantially and reach the highest level. If that happens, we can't beat him anymore with our current strength."

They are all stunned. Luke was right, if they let Vrochis in the forbidden forest, then he would get stronger. However, letting Vrochis roam the academy as a student wasn't a good thing, so they only had two chances, lock him up like they used to in a forbidden room or kill him.

"So, we have to catch him?" Xavier asked.

Luke answered. "We still don't know his weakness other than the fear of the sun. To find another weakness, we have to face it. Taking him away from the academy for a while and looking for his weak points. However, before that we must know where the suitable place is for this hunt."

"Since Vrochis is afraid of the sun, we have to find an open place and do it during the day. Even though he's going to rain down to cover the sun, maybe I can limit it."

"How sure are you?" Louis asked.

Luke thought for a moment. In terms of strength, Vrochis was superior. In order to limit Vrochis' power, Luke could do it but not completely. And even then you have to do it to the maximum and consume a lot of energy. Restricting such spiritual power was more difficult than restricting movement.

So, the only thing Luke can think of right now is to limit it by as much as, "50%"

They all freeze. How strong is Vrochis that Luke himself is hard to limit. However, it was most likely that 50% would be enough against him. Vrochis's attack was no joke and they had all experienced it. This time Vrochis' power increased and Luke couldn't fully control it.

"I think that's enough." Jules spoke although still dumbfounded. Luke is already that strong but still need 50% success to beat Vrochis.

In general, Luke was nearing immortality, and was becoming the stronger one among the academy students. It only took one step to succeed and Luke could become ruler and history beyond Professor Arm. The training is not playful and unlike the training of ordinary people who practice in the practice room, that's why don't be surprised if Luke is not present in any training classes. Luke's training ground is the wilderness aka the forest and more often than not the forbidden forest. He already has access to go back and forth to the forbidden forest safely and intact. He was Professor Armstrong's direct student and no one knew about it.

It was only natural that the six of them were surprised by Luke's statement earlier. Luke was already that strong and even reached the qualifications for a duel with Professor Armstrong. Now saying 50% chance of winning, that doesn't make any sense! Vrochis is so strong!

That meant all of them apart from Luke were just ants that were easily trampled on!

"Zoya, did you bring Clare's control tablet?" Luke asked.

Zoya suddenly went blank for a moment and immediately responded with a stutter. "That... You didn't say before... I'll take it now."

Zoya stands up straight away and leaves from the room alone. No one wanted to accompany him so she went alone. It was also meant to check the state of Clare who in their minds was still a sleeping princess.

Zoya darts fast towards the dorm and goes inside. She opened the door quietly.

Zoya is shaken, her eyes no longer blink and her breathing stops. Seeing some objects that initially floated, collapsed instantly in front of her eyes. Some even almost hit it. The room which was originally clean and tidy, is now worse than a broken ship!

Zoya wakes up from her shock and her eyes search for the remaining human in the room. Her mind was already wandering the fear of Clare disappearing as if swallowed by the earth. When she saw the figure of the blonde girl who was still hiding under the blanket, Zoya breathed a sigh of relief. Her fear is just an illusion.

"Clare, what happened?" While talking, Zoya walked over to poor Clare and hugged her.

Clare looked pale and shaking, unable to even speak. Tears filled her beautiful face and immediately hugged Zoya in fear.

"That's enough. You're calm. Tell me what happened." Zoya rubbed Clare's back soothingly.

Clare pointed to the large window beside her. Right around the fairy garden. Zoya followed Clare's gaze and looked at the window. The figure of a man all black and mysterious went from there to the opposite castle. Zoya didn't get to see his face, only his back showed intimidation which made Zoya shudder.

Zoya turned back to Clare who was still shaking. I don't know what that person did to make Clare like this. Zoya looked at Clare and cupped her arm tightly.

"Clare calm down. Look at me...."

Clare looked at Zoya in fear as she cupped her trembling hands.

Zoya's gaze remains calm. He rubbed Clare's head then touched her forehead gently. Immediately Clare closed her eyes and her body fell backwards.

This is the first time Zoya has been able to keep Clare under her control. Even though Zoya had to use a lot of energy and Clare didn't show any resistance, Zoya managed to put Clare to sleep. This is all Zoya can do for now. She couldn't make Clare completely calm with her hypnosis because Clare couldn't be hypnotized.

Zoya sighed. He got out of bed, adjusted Clare's position and covered her. Then he took the control tablet from Clare's desk drawer and carried it away. As long as Clare is asleep, no one will be able to wake her up except Clare herself. That too will wake up in the next hour for Clare. For normal people can reach 3 hours more.

Zoya returns to the meeting room and gathers with the other members. She recounts her experience with Clare and says she managed to put her to sleep for the next hour. Her words stunned them all. Clare is not easy to control like that. Luke was right, Clare's mentality had been disturbed to the point that even Zoya's strength was the lowest of them all.

"There is no other way. We have to carry out the first plan," said Luke.

Zoya is momentarily stunned looking at all her comrades in confusion. "You guys have a backup plan? Why didn't you tell me?"

Blaire smiled faintly. "You'll find out later."
