CHAPTER 4 WHY WOULD I BE JEALOUS?

"What on earth is this woman talking about" I thought to myself.since the death of my parents,I made up my mind not to have anything to do with the opposite sex.beside I hated males so much for reasons unknown to me.

"Am sorry Aunt but it skipped my mind,it won't happen again" I told her with my face down.

"Off course it won't happen again,when you are going to bed without dinner this night ".she said and threw some money at me and ordered me to hurry up if I didn't want her to worsen my punishment.

I picked up the money and ran out of the house in order to get to store on time.

While picking up some ingredients,I felt a presence behind me. With adrenaline surging through me I swiftly struck out,when I realized that it was a guy.

"Ouch" the guy who just recieved my blow screamed with pain.

"Serves you right for sneaking up at me.i told him,while rejoicing in my mind that my attack skill is improving.and since I have a great resentment for males.

"I wasn't sneaking, I was waiting for you to pick whatever you wanted to so that I can pick up mine.he said with an annoyed face.

"Oh really? Am sorry,I thought that you..never mind". I apologized.

"It's fine".so what are you picking up so that I can help you".he asked with hope in his eyes me.

"I uhmm,don't worry am in a hurry.i told him while making my way out.

"By the way am Alex Benson.he shouted.

"Sophia".i replied him.
