With its throat slashed open, it was robbed of the ability to even shriek before it died.
A few seconds later, the body of the dimensional creature settled down, lifeless. In front of Aldrin's screen, the message from the IDLE Database confirmed the pitiful beast's departure from this dimension.
Because the incident with Irina already happened once. Everyone remained vigilant. Their backs against each other and fully prepared to respond in case of a sudden change.
Aldrin, too, was the same. He made sure to check the minimap over and over while scouring what was around them.
Once he deemed it safe, he called for the trainees in his group to be at ease.
