Finding Idemili

Haaa!! We meet again!

Ogun and Yemoja both turned simultaneously to see the owner of this voice.

But weirdly enough, they didn't see anyone.

Another voice sounded. You got away with a win last time, I'll love to see you do so again!

Show yourself. Yemoja said slowly.

Kain!!

Ogun slapped away the many daggers that suddenly flew towards him from nowhere.

Suddenly a metal box riddled with small holes covered the both of them.

Inside it, Ogun spoke to Yemoja. Whoever is doing this is very close to us...

Yemoja nodded her head. I'm listening.

The lightning goddess knew Ogun had a card up his sleeves and she couldn't wait to hear it.

If only she knew she was the card up his sleeves.

Ogun nodded. The reason I riddled this box with holes is to enable you shoot your lightning out of them. Build up your power, and release it at my signal. Even if you don't get them, just expose their location.

Afterwards, Ogun closed his eye and placed his hand on the ground.

Yemoja wasn't sure what he was doing placing his ground on the ground but she followed his instructions and charged up a crazy amount of power.

The ground suddenly started making way for Ogun, Ogun was forcefully burrowing his way underground.

Ogun suddenly entered the ground. release it when you hear my voice.

Ogun suddenly shouted.

Now!

Yemoja immediatly released her power.

Lightning surged through her and towards the metal box.

The lightning hit the holes in the metal box and it quickly passed through.

Arrrghhh!!

The sound of painful screams rented the air.

Who could take lightning attacks and not scream?

Ogun suddenly popped out of the ground, behind the voices.

Huh?

Ogun was stunned as he noticed that it was the last two remaining of the assassin class abomination.

Oku and Ikuku.

All the lightning that had taken a different route suddenly turned around.

They all merged, creating one big lightning ball that headed towards the assasins.

The lightning ball acted as if it had a mind of it's own, but it didn't. It's controller had a mind of her own.

The lightning suddenly changed focus to Oku.

Ikuku was taken by surprise and he immediately tried to save his companion.

Ikuku didn't reach Oku as he was intercepted by the great Iron bender.

Ogun jumped on Ikuku and tried to dig his hand into Ikuku's head.

Ogun spun Ikuku and slammed his head on the ground.

As Ikuku fell to the floor, Ogun mounted him and a metal bands suddenly clipped Ikuku's leg and hand, stopping him from moving. Ogun then landed a well deserved blow to the face of Ikuku.

Ogun placed his hand on Ikuku's head and a very big spiky metal appeared in Ogun's palm.

It tried to drill into Ikuku's skul but there was a resistance.

Ogun quickly changed focus to Ikuku's eye and the eye immediately burst.

A very large quantity of metal dust flowed into Ikuku's body from there and Ikuku's head burst.

Ogun didn't take any pause, he immediately switched focus to Oku.

Yemoja had come out of the metal box and she was pouring lightning into Oku's chest.

Ogun immediately stabbed his dagger into Oku's chest and he pulled the dagger downwards, before yanking it to the side.

Ogun stuck his hand into Oku' chest and pulled out his heart.

Oku fell limply to the floor.

Yemoja walked slowly to stand beside Ogun, she was visibly surprised.

What just happened?

Were this the same people that almost killed them the last time they met?

Yemoja was particularly shocked. Is it because they took the assassinsby surprise?

Or the assassins had weakened?

Or they had gotten stronger?

What they didn't know was that it was all those factors combined that led to their easy win.

And a larger part of it is owed to luck.

C'mon, we have no time to spare, we better find Idemili very fast. Yemoja spoke.

She didn't have a good feeling about this whole thing.

Idemili was visibly angered when her mom was killed. But even more so when Ashi suddenly escaped with her mother's corpse.

There was no telling what Idemili was going to do in her fury.

That was why they needed to find her as soon as possible, so they could save lives.

And so they could protect Idemili, she could take a decision that she would forever regret.

It was best to stop her now before it was too late.

At the same time, Ogun and Yemoja knew it wasn't going to be easy, they were going to face some hinderances in their short term mission and they had already faced one.

They were able to easily overcome their first hurdle but how about the next to come?
