Without thinking, I immediately called Jess, who immediately answered my phone call in less than three seconds.
"Hello."
What an efficient personal assistant, I muttered when I heard his voice.
"Jess. Since when is Richard not in his apartment?"
"Let me think about it. Hm, it seems like just now."

"Judging by the way you reacted, it sounded like you hadn't seen him."
"Of course I haven't met him, you stupid bastard!" I snapped in a voice that managed to attract the attention of several people around me, whom I ignored. "I just read your message. If only I knew where he was right away."
