2. 'Lost'

He was gone, but his words got stuck in my mind. Thinking about him, I started going towards my room. Just then, my mother called me, "Emily you don't have to eat? Where are you going?" I had even forgotten to eat food. I asked my mother when my father would come. Father did not live with us then. He used to travel with business purposes. He was acquainted with some people here, even before being shifted, he went out for a business trip. My mother told me that he would come after a week.

I also asked my mother to come and eat. We both had dinner together. "Ash is a good boy, isn't he?" In between meals, my mother again started talking about that boy."We shifted just a few days ago, but he helped us." Mother started speaking about him.

"Mom, that's the thing to think, we have shifted a few days ago and he helped us. Who knows what his motives are behind this?" I said raising my eyes.

"Has he come to rob us?" I said rubbing my chin. Like a detective.

My mother lightly hit my head, "Don't you think that you think too much?" And started laughing at my words. Now I felt like an idiot. I meant that we cannot trust anyone quickly. My father's call came and I started talking to him. Then my father asked to give the phone to mother. And I wish both of them good night and started going to my room.

As soon as I entered the room, I jumped on the bed, For these reasons my mother says that I am not like the rest of the girls. I mean, I can do anything in my room.When I tried to sleep, I remembered the boy's face again. And his words. I said in my head " eyy- boy let me sleep!" As if he was listening.

Then I did not know when I fell asleep.

"Emily wake up! "Mom said.

"Mom, I'll get up, just a little more"

"how long ?"

"Like 5-10 minutes" I said as if my mother would let me sleep.

"I'm getting up mother, right now. "

My hair was tangled again. And my face looked like a monkey. I freshened up and made my hair. Yes, my hair looked fine now. I went down, "Ma, Mom what are you doing."

"I'm in the kitchen, you clean the hall." My mother said.

I went to the hall, and started cleaning. This is very difficult to do. At least it is difficult for me. My mother says that I should learn all this work. All these works will be used in the in-laws' house. But, I will make my husband to do all the work.While working, I got lost in my own world. And thinking all this, I started laughing. Like an Idiot.

Then my mother called me from the kitchen saying, "Emily, we have to bring some stuff from the market."

" What will you do? You will go to the market and bring the goods, got it. "My mother ordered.

"Yes!"

"Okay ma."

"But go after breakfast."

I had breakfast. And then the list of goods was taken from the mother and left for the market.Had to take a lot of things. It was a very long list, yes we had just shifted so it was obvious to have such a big list. Did not have to take too many big items, just a long list of small things.

I went to the market, lots of stuff, two bags, and I was tired.

Hello, I had forgotten my way home, I had lost my mind. How could I forget my way home? After a while standing on the road like an idiot, I started to regret my life.

I was about to cry. Then suddenly someone near my ear said, "Miss, have you lost the way?"

I got scared even more, I did not even dare to turn back. I was terrified. Is this any kidnapper , Oh God what will happen to me now?

"Look, I've moved a few days ago, that's why I don't remember the way." I attacked him with my wholesome face.

"And my legs are tired too" I said in a sad tone."But I don't have any money left. "

"seriously? Who is asking you to spend?, let's take a taxi, I will pay, but only this time."He told me, I thought I would get a chance to spend his money, but then he said "I'm writing it in my account, later I will take it back from you."

He then stopped a taxi, and we sat in it and the taxi started going towards the house which way I had unfortunately forgotten.
