Chapter 3: Heroes tropes

Leon POV

I left the house early in the morning to look for a clue that might lead me to my little sister. And my only lead is what light mother has told me.

(If I recall correctly before Light went missing, he texted her mother, saying she was on her way home with a couple of friends, and that was the last time he texted her. Something must have happened to them for them to vanish like that with no trace, but what could it have been?)

I keep walking and looking around the streets until I come to a stop in front of light house. But I didn't manage to get even a single lead.

(Damn it! No Leon, I need to calm down; there are two more ways to get here from our house, so they must have taken a different route than I do; I'm sure there's going to be some kind of lead there, so don't give up Leon,)

But, to my surprise, I didn't find any kind of lead at all. I couldn't find anything no matter how hard I looked.

"DAMN WHY CAN'T I FIND ANYTHING?, WHY?, WHY?, WHY?!"

Because of my frustration, I strike a nearby wall. (Why? Can't I find anything at all? Where are you luna?) I thought to myself. At that moment, I felt like a bunch of dark feelings started swelling inside of me.

(What if I won't be able to see my little sister again?)

I heard sounds I didn't recognize. I felt as if I were in hell. But then I recall something. (Leon promised me you will find your little sister no matter what happens!) .that"s was my father's last words.

"That's right, Leon, this is not the time to be in despair. Luna must be in much more despair than. me as a big brother I need to be on his side!" don't worry luna I will surely find you whatever happens.

Light POV

Right now, a beautiful lady is looking right at me. But I feel like he's looking at my soul. What kind of feeling is this? She then said, "O heroes, you have finally arrived at last!"

Heroes? What does she mean when she says, "heroes?" But before I could ask her that, someone else asked a question about the beautiful lady. Hey lady, where are we right now? And who are you? " The one that said that is our student president, Lily.

" The way she talks is like how thugs speak, but she's not a bad person. She is the kindest and wisest person I know because Lily is my childhood friend.

The lady in front of us replied to Lily, and what she answered confused me. "O dear heroes, this place is called Eden, the park of the gods and goddesses, and my name is Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty and love." Aphrodite isn't that one god from the myths, and did she just say this place is Eden?

"I understand it may bewilder you about what is going on right now, Heroes of Destiny, so allow me to explain. You four are the summoned heroes capable of saving all humanity from the demon lord Kuragami, and we need your help!" (aphrodite)

This kind of setting is like those light novels I have read before. Heroes that been summoned by the gods to save humanity from the demon lord and all that stuff I love that kind of genre but I didn't expect that I will be in that kind of situation right now?

"I have a question if what you are saying is correct, aren't you gods? Then can't you just defeat this demon lord by yourself? I am sure you have the power to do that. Then why did you even summon us here?" (Light)

"It's exactly what you said, hero Light. We have the ability to do so, but it is already too late. We tried it before, but the demon lord kuragami was a powerful demon capable of stealing power from the gods. I'm ashamed to say it, but he was able to trick us to gather all the gods in one place and he was able to steal their powers, and now we can't even beat him, and you heroes of destiny are our last hope to stop him!" (Aphrodite)

Wait, did she just say that demon lord can steal the god's ability, then can't he also steal the power of the heroes, then even if we are the heroes of destiny or whatever it won't make a difference? Aren't there?

But before I could say this, lily has already asked aphrodite the same question. "Did you just say that the demon lord can steal powers of the god can't he just do the same to us and stole our power us the heroes of? destiny, then it won't make a difference? At all, if we're here or not?" (Lily)

"That is right, so I implore you to help us defeat the demon lord, Kuragami, for the sake of this planet's future and all living beings who inhabit it! "

This is essential to transfer to another world tropes setting. I should ask them the same question that every protagonist in that type of novel does.

"I have a question if we were able to defeat this demon lord will we be able to go back to our world?" (Light)

"I am ashamed to say this, but you will not be able to get back to your own world. It's because we don't know how to return you back to your world. I am sorry!" (Aphrodite)

As I expected, she will say that it is a genre trope from another world, so our only option now is to accept her request. "We accept your offer to save the world!" Lily quickly touched my shoulder when I said that.

"Wait, Light, don't make such hasty decisions. You're not the only one here, so don't make hasty decisions about our future!" (Lily)

"I am sorry Lily, I forget to ask you guys what you think about it!" I looked at luna, angel, and lily in the eyes. "Then will you help me save this world?

Luna is the first to respond to my question. "Of course, big brother Light!"

the next to respond to my question is angel. "I will gladly help you out, Light!"

then looked at Lily. "(Sigh)... Do what you want, Light, but if something bad happens to us, I will curse you so remember that," Lily said with a grin.

"Hahaha, I will remember that, don't worry Lily!" (Light)

"I am grateful that you have agreed to our request, hero Light." We will begin your summoning in our world, and we will also bestow our blessing on you, so you can become much stronger to protect our planet!" (Aphrodite)

When she finished saying that, the whole place became so bright that I lost consciousness.

"I am excited!" (Light)
