Chapter 83
"Are we close to Lily, yet?" Sam asks Nycta, who is running by his left side. Behind them is the Wind magic-user girl.
"Close. I can feel the seed of magic I left inside her within a few blocks from here." She replies.
To focus on running, Sam has asked Nycta to let his arm go. The latter pouted but agreed nonetheless. She knew what was more important at that point.
Still, the distance between her and Sam has been relatively small. When running, there has been not once that she 'accidentally' touched him with either her hands, body or her D-cups.
*Boom!*
The two are stopped by the sound of an explosion right ahead of them.
Hearing that, Sam's eyebrows turn into a frown. If there is a loud sound, the zombies will be coming to this place. He has been trying to keep the noise as small as possible, but it seems those ahead of him do not think like that. Furthermore, the source of the explosion seems to be the same as where they are going.
"We should hurry up." He picks up the pace. "I'm worried."
"Yes." The blind girl nods her head.
After a few hours of minimal fighting, Sam's mana has finally returned to about seventy percent. He now has enough power for another battle. And if in front of him is Lily being in danger, well, he is going all out again.
Being able to read his thoughts, Nycta throws forward a huge dark flame that consumes all, getting rid of everything in its way. Also, behind her, the girl is constantly killing the zombies for backup. If he wants to do the battle himself, then she will help him to the best of her abilities.
"Don't worry too much, Sam. I can still feel them all." She touches his arm while running.
Feeling the warmth from Nycta, Sam's increasing anxiety slows down a little. "If not for you, I don't know what I'll be doing."
It is the truth. Without Nycta's specialty, there is no way for Sam to understand the condition of the others. Because of the lack of information, he could have done a lot of worse things, such as charging in without thinking and killing himself in the process.
"Remember to give me lots of love later as a reward, then!" She smiles brighter than the Sun.
Nycta just loves the feeling of being of use to him. For someone who has low self-esteem, it is always best that the one she puts her trust in recognizes her abilities.
Before this, Nycta has sent out a group to go get the girls. However, it seems like almost all of them are dead, as she can only feel the mana consumption of Mind Control in the one running towards Yuno.
Nycta's Mind Control magic can do two things.
One is to have total control of the target's body. In this form, the spell will change the color of the eyes of her targets. Nycta can choose which feelings she will borrow. Usually, it is sight and hearing since she does not need anything else besides those. Still, if she wants to, she can have total control over those that she has influenced. Although, the distance between her and her target will make the mana consumption change drastically.
At home, when she was transported into the Selection, the connection between Nycta and the maid was therefore lost. Still, the maid did not dare leave the building. Using the principle of house arrest shackles, Nycta and Lily have created a device that attached itself to the vagina of the maid. The effect would be similar to the first time they met down in Lily's basement. Once she leaves the premises, a vial of acid would burst inside of her, effectively ending her life. If she wants to suicide, she can, because they do not really care about her life.
Secondly, since the seeds of Mind Control all come from the same source, the blind girl can feel the other seeds. In this state of the spell, she can detonate the seed of mind control, magnifying the deepest darkest desire of one person. She has done this with Marie when she was told to leave by the Hero. And it just worked. She knows the direction and body conditions of the targets, but can not control them. Still, just that much is more than enough for a completely unfamiliar environment such as the Selection.
A couple of blocks down the street, Lily is busy with the two guys.
They come from a higher civilization on the Scale. According to their words, it was a 1.3 Ena civilization. To make themselves almost invulnerable by the zombie, the two guys have been using something that looks similar to a hoverboard to float in mid-air. Their weapons even though simple, each uses a wand for their magic, yet very deadly.
One specialized in Earth, the other specialized in Fire. The previous explosion was because they combined their specialties, creating a magma explosion on the ground, killing loads of zombies and blocking the way of Lily at the same time.
"Hey, lady, can you please at least let us finish introducing ourselves?" The guy who was called big bro asks her. "We are here to help you, not to harm you in any way!"
*Rumble rumble*
But unlike his well-mannered sentence, the guy waves his arm, creating an earth wall behind Lily.
Now, in front of her is the flowing magma, behind her is an earth wall that is higher than the buildings around.
Lily is extremely furious. Her face darkens, and her eyes start to change. They fly way above her, so she can not attack them with her Laser Sword. And the previous attempt of using Laser Beam proved to be not very successful, as well.
Because around them is a layer of transparent protection, an unknown technology to Earth.
"Our planet does not allow women to use magic, you see. Well, they can, but they are not allowed to. It is not because our women are cursed or anything. Just because in the past, we had a War with a female Apostle." The older guy continues to approach her slowly with the hoverboard. His eyes are similar to those perverts who are always sweating.
Lily stays silent. She is not looking forward to listening to those crooks. She is only trying to find the fastest way to end them.
"We lost. After that, for a thousand years, women reigned supreme. It has been only a couple of hundred years since a new War in which the Apostle was finally killed, bringing the men back to freedom. So you see, I hope you understand why we were so surprised to see someone as good as you are."
Women are forbidden to use magic. Which in turn makes it exceedingly hard for these brothers to find those with good talents. Because of this, whenever they see someone that is good, they would feel a sense of 'crime' since they would be seeing something abnormal in their homeworld.
Even beyond that, these two men find sexual pleasure from that particular feelings. Not to mention, Lily's body is certainly better than all of the 'lowly' women in their world. Unlike those who are hideous because of living like slaves and breeding livestock, Lily is clean, beautiful, and has a nice figure.
The younger brother then follows up with pantings in his breath. "Is it possible for you to join us? We would like to have a female companion! We are from a better civilization than you, after all. If you come with us, maybe we will even have something like a diplomatic relationship between your planet and ours, strengthening our bo..."
Lily has had enough. She does not want to lose too much time, but they have made it so.
Light magic: Blind.
A huge flash appears in front of Lily, blinding the two guys on the hoverboard.
"GAHHHH!!"
"AAAAHH!! MY EYES!!"
Not stopping there, Lily throws from her palms Metal Chains, which quickly wraps around the floating board.
Her body glows in Physical Enhancement as Lily pulls herself upward to the two, between her teeth is the sword.
Rubbing their eyes, the brothers finally have a sense of what is going on.
"Brother, let's cut these chains! She will fall and we can have her body!!" The younger one starts to think of a very disturbing image: two brothers taking turns on Lily's corpse.
Lily has finally gotten close to what looks like an exhaustion pipe of this hoverboard. With a quick motion, she throws in there a Fire Bomb.
"Hey! What are you doing! Why don't we just..."
She unwraps the metal chains and fires them at another location.
