Chapter 18

Yui and Yuno hold each other with one hand, extending them to create a big hug and approach Sam. Since Sam has only vision on his right side, they both have to choose the right. After consideration, Yui will be going straight, while Yuno will be going towards his right arm.

They completely disregard Lily, who is still linking her fingers with him. The twins do not bother to give her a look. To them, she is nothing more than a gust of wind.

However, being so lovey-dovey to him is absolutely not a good thing. Even if she were air, holding his hand when they are present would be unacceptable. Actually, holding his hand is unacceptable to anyone except for them at any given time. Just like the rest of the group currently, Yui and Yuno want all of Sam to themselves only.

Before meeting Sam, the twins have already discussed what to do if they saw Lily doing something intimate with him. They knew before hand that Lily was similar to a succubus, always looking to charm Sam whenever she could. She did make them wonder in the past if there was a succubus in their family tree. And now, seeing this kind of image, they will do exactly what they talked about.

Upon Yui's touch, a small sizzle sound can be heard. She lets it go right after that.

Everything went smoothly behind Sam's back, preventing him from seeing and intervening their quarrel.

"Ah!" Lily shouts in agony. Her hand has been burned very badly. The whole back side of it is seriously charred with cracks of blood forming here and there.

It will probably leave a scar. She hates scars. Especially if they are on her body. She needs to get it treated as soon as possible to minimize the outcome.

Lily's face pales because of the anger and the pain. There is no way for her to just leave right now to take care of her hands while the twin devils are here. She is certain that they will do something to snatch Sam away from her. Because that is what they all do.

They were definitely snickering. Lily thinks to herself.

To be fair, she does not expect such a tactic coming from the two. Last time they encountered, Lily had a total win. They must have had some serious scheming master to teach them all of these little tricks.

Luckily for her, she has already put up the Defensive Aura the moment she saw them, just to be safe. If not, Lily's hand could have been burned off totally. She would have lost the entire hand right then and there.

She looks at the two with an extremely cold stare.

The twins also look back at her briefly. In their heterochromia eyes, the same kind of emotion can easily be detected by her. Dark, swirling vortexes of doom.

So that is how it is going to be from now on. Once more, Lily thinks.

Not just that, Lily will need to worry about 'her' at the same time as the devil twins.

I don't mind sending out some new body bags. Lily opens her mouth but there is no sound, just the lipsync.

The twins know what she is saying.

After achieving their goal, the two wrap their arms around Sam. They hug him tightly, smelling and sniffing the scent of his clothes while closing their eyes like puppies. At that moment, they become angels. A complete opposite face than when they are showing to Lily.

"Hey Yui! Hey Yuno! Did you guys hear that sound?" Sam looks back. "There was a small sound just now coming from around here."

Instantly, Lily puts the blackened hand inside the pocket. Cold sweats start to form on Lily's forehead because of the burn.

"Nope. Nothing. I didn't hear anything."

"Me too." The twins say at the same time.

Then Sam sees the strange status of Lily.

"Are you okay Lily? Anything wrong? You look a little pale there."

Jackpot. The twins are waiting for the opening line from Sam.

"Hey, lady, you should go see the doctor. Right, Yuno?"

"Um, Yui. She must be feeling unwell."

The two look at her with eyes full of worries. Their emotions are similar to what they should be expressing to their closest friends.

"We are at the hospital anyway, she should be find on her own."

"Yeah. This lady should be fine. Maybe she is a doctor also. She wears the mask and labcoat just like what doctors do."

"I'm fine!" Lily makes a bright smile. As if nothing is happening to her at all. "I just need to use the rest room, that's it. Could you please wait for me a little?"

A normal person would have been screaming, let alone smiling and talking like that.

"Yeah. I'll wait for you. You sure you're fine?" Sam says.

"Well. You know us girls! Haha. That time of the month. Again."

"Ah. Sorry!"

"Don't be. Though I don't mind if you help me with it." Lily is then looking seductively.

The twins stay silent but continue to show their angelic eyes. They want to know what Lily is going to do.

"How can I help?"

Lily walks in front of Sam and bends down. She pulls her shirt slightly so that it would show Sam her underwear for the day.

Yui and Yuno faces are on the verge of breaking after seeing Lily's advance.

Sam looks away, but his head is now filled with the image. Which is exactly what the doctor-wannabe is looking for.

"You can help me get rid of these monthly thing by giving me an injection every 9 months. If you know what I mean."

Lily looks at Sam, her eyes full of pride.
