Demon King's plot part 2
She shook her head and focused on the tree. Naihua rowed faster and faster, getting closer and closer to the tree. She saw the flowers more clearly, shining like stars. The branches and leaves, swaying in the breeze. The trunk and roots, sturdy and strong.
She was about to reach the shore, when she heard a loud thud. She felt the boat shake and tilt. She felt the water splash and seep. She looked down and saw a hole in the boat. She saw the water gushing in, filling the boat. She realized the boat was sinking.
She screamed, "What's happening? What's going on?"
She heard him say, "The boat is old, little fairy. It's been here for a million years. It can't hold your weight like I do. It's breaking and sinking."
She said, "What? Why didn't you tell me that? Why did you give me this boat?"
He said, "Little fairy. I didn't give you this boat. You choose it yourself thinking It was the only way to cross the lake."
