'So, I probably got this from maxing out [ Holy Cure ]. The effects are quite good, I'll probably be able to cure 100 people from now on.' Wang Qian thought

Currently, Wang Qian and Bai Lian are walking on the street to look for something fun to do. They've been walking on the street and trying almost every kind of delicacy they could find. They then decided to switch their target to find some entertainment.

"Come and try everyone! Whoever can break this wooden board will get 100 silver quins! It's 100 silver quins! Come and try your strength everyone!"

Just then, they come by a person who seems to be doing a challenge. Hearing the content, the people swarmed around him as they wanted to win the 100 silver quins back home. Seeing this, the person became happy as he said

"No need to rush, everyone gets to have their turn. A person 3 copper quins, it's not expensive right? You just need to use 3 copper quins to get 100 silver quins, what an earn!"

Hearing this, the people stopped swarming him as they give him some space. A person then stepped out as he gave 3 copper quins to the man. The man took it over as he then take out a wooden board.

"You can try to break it now." he said as he hold it using his hand

The challenger took a deep breath before swinging his hand down to break the wooden board apart. When his hand touched the board, he failed to break it. Instead, his hand swelled. The people around him laugh at the fact that he failed to break a wooden board, while the person run away in embarrassment. The next person stepped up as he passed 3 coper quins to the man. He then swinged his hand down, but got the same result as the person before him. Unable to accept it, he paid 3 more copper quins as he swinged his hand again, but he still got the same result. He walked away in dejection.

The next to get up was a man with bulging muscles, he was said to be the strongest person in the city. He walked up to the man and gave him 3 copper quins, before squatting down as he raised his arm high up and took a deep breath and hold it in. Swoosh~, his hand swinged down to break apart. As he reopened his eyes, he was shocked to find that the wooden board didn't even bent. Seeing this, the crowd dispersed as they knew that this person was scamming their money. 

"Do you want to try, Bai Lian?" Wang Qian, who was at the side, asked 

"Can we, papa?" Bai Lian was excited to try, but she asked for Wang Qian's permission first.

"We sure can, let's go." 

They held each others hands as they walked towards the man.

"3 copper quins for one try." the man said

"Here you go." Wang Qian gave to the man after taking it out from his pocket.

"Do you want to try first, Bai Lian?" 

"Okay. Mister, can we use magic?" Bai Lian asked the man

"Of course you can, kid." the man said.

'Heh, even if you are a genius mage, you won't be able to break this board. I've changed it into a high physical and magic resistance metal board after all.' the man was thinking

The next second he was shocked, he saw a fireball which size is comparable to a watermelon condensing in front of him. Out of fear, he let go of the board before backing away. The fireball was then shot towards the board, with it enveloping the board for a few seconds and disappearing. The board was then revealed with it being crumbled. 

"Yay! I did it, papa!" Bai Lian jumped up in happiness

"As expected of you, breaking the board while the others can't" Wang Qian praised

'Was her fireball this big before? Is it because of the plot?' he thought

"Anyways, now that Bai Lian broke the board, where's the 100 silver quins?" he turned his head to the man and asked.

"Here...here." the man took the 100 silver quins from his pocket and gave it to Wang Qian. Wang Qian then passed it to Bai Lian

"Here's your reward, my little princess."

"Hehe"

After calming down, the man got back up and sat at where he was just now. Wang Qian who was also eager to try it out, gave another 3 copper quins to the man. The man, after witnessing the terrifying magic that a little girl used, became more cautious as he said

"Although 3 copper quins can let you earn 100 silver quins, you can earn 100 gold quins just by paying one silver quins. How is it? Are you interested?"

'If 10 copper quins is equal to 1 silver quins, while 10 silver quins is equal to 1 gold quins, then that makes it 10000 copper quins!' he thought

"If i pick to play how you said just now, what would I need to do to get the 100 gold quins?" Wang Qian asked

"It's very simple, you just need to destroy 20 wooden boards, and you can get the 100 gold quins. So, would you like to try?" the man asked with a sly smile.

"Sure" he said as he took out a silver quins and took back the copper quins he gave out just now. The man then took out 20 of the same board as he stacked them up above two bricks. He then backed up to let Wang Qian give his try.

"You can try breaking these apart now." the man said.

'You might be able to break one, but how about 20? It's as strong as this city's wall! No matter how strong you are, it's impossible for you to do it!' he thought

The next second, a loud boom was heard. The crowd who had just dispersed turned their heads over as they opened their mouths in shock. What they saw was Wang Qian who stood there, with his hand below his hip while dust and 20 stacks of broken wooden boards are in front of him. The man who was at the opposite side of Wang Qian was so scared that he peed his pants.

"Well, I succeeded in breaking 20 boards. Where's mine 100 gold quins?" he asked the man

Currently, in the eyes of the man, Wang Qian was just like demon, although he is one. Scared that he might lose his life for no apparent reason, he quickly gave Wang Qian the 100 gold quins and ran away.

"That was quite an earn isn't it, Bai Lian?"

"mhmm" Bai Lian replied while nodding her head.

After the man ran away, the bystanders also turned their attention back to what they were doing. Wang Qian then held Bai Lian's hands as they continue to walk while trying to find something fun to do. Just as they walked for a few steps, Hua Yue contacted Wang Qian through the link.

'My lord, are you doing anything right now?' she asked

'No, Bai Lian and I looking for something fun to do. Why?' 

'It's about the bamboo slip. We've encountered some problem while extracting slip out'

'I see. I'll head over there right now. Can you tell me where is it?'

'From the mansion's gate turn right and walk straight until my lord sees a grassland. There, my lord just need to contact me and I'll come and fetch my lord'

'Okay, I'll be there soon'

Wang Qian then turned to Bai Lian and said

"Let's go back first, Bai Lian. Hua Yue has met with some problems extracting the bamboo slip for me"

"Okay" she said. Bai Lian then opened her arms as Wang Qian carried her and placed her on his shoulder before dashing to their destination.
