As Wang Qian and Bai Lian were playing happily, time quickly passed by. After playing non-stop for an hour with Bai Lian unable to beat Wang Qian in rock paper scissors, Bai Lian decided to take a nap. Wang Qian chose to sit next to her while looking at his status

"What is it my lord?" the man asked worriedly

"No, I didn't do or offend anyone that warrants me a curse"

Wang Qian then lowered his head to think of a way to identify the curse

Hearing his words, Liu Kang exhaled with relief. It was at this moment a knock was heard.

"Who is it?" Liu Kang asked

"It's me, Jian Ze" 

"Oh, coming!" 

Liu Kang got up immediately to open the door for Jian Ze to enter. Jian Ze then saw Wang Qian and Bai Lian sitting on a table near him, he wanted to greet them. But before he can, he saw that Wang Qian shook his head as he placed his finger in front of his mouth. Confused, Jian Ze tried to see what was happening behind Wang Qian. Wang Qian moved his body to the right as he revealed Bai Lian who was sleeping soundly on the table. 

It was only then that Jian Ze understood what he meant and nodded his head in understanding. He walked slowly towards Wang Qian and said with his voice lowered

"The whole city is currently being searched by my lord and the Princess Bai's fans. There is no longer any place left for my lord to hide. Even this place might not be that safe anymore, that's why I suggest my lord and the princess to consider to move to the City of Memories. That place have lesser civilians compared to this city. It is also closest to this city compared to other cities, it doesn't have much visitor there too."

"That does sound like a good place, but I've only been in this city for a few days. Moreover, I've haven't return the book I borrowed from the library yet." Wang Qian said

"That will not be a problem. We, your loyal believers can return it in my lord's stead. Moreover, I've received news that the royal palace seems to be making some moves. It should be safer to hide over there right now as that place will not have much royal soldiers stationed there. My lord can also treat it as a place to spend time with the princess as that place has a beautiful view at night"

Hearing his words, Wang Qian immediately became serious as he remembered that the royal palace is still looking for him. 

"Looks like there's no choice. Can you contact the general there? Tell him I'll be going there soon."

"Understood, would you like to establish a link with him?" Jian Ze asked

"Sure, it'll make things easier when I need help from you all" 

Jian Ze then took out the same kind of orb that Liu Kang took out earlier. It was then that Wang Qian felt something was wrong. He stopped Jian Ze from using it. Despite being confused, Jian Ze follow his order and wait for him to give the next order

Wang Qian decided to use [ Appraisal ] on the orb, and its information made him shocked

"So that's where the curse came from!" Wang Qian exclaimed in surprise, but kept his volume low to prevent waking up Bai Lian. The two people were confused by what their lord was saying.

Wang Qian then turned his eyes towards Jian Ze and appraised him

"Good, your cursed is lifted. How do you feel?" he asked Jian Ze

"I feel stronger and lighter. Did my lord say that I've had a curse?"

"Yup, and looks like I'll have to stay here longer. Liu Kang, bring your orb here to me."

Liu Kang was surprised that Wang Qian suddenly knew his name, but he didn't dare to delay his order.

"Here it is my lord." Liu Kang said as he handed over the orb to Wang Qian

Holding the two orbs, Wang Qian used [ Holy Cure ] on both of them. The next second, faint lights shone from the orbs. When the light died down, the orbs turned from color changing to bright white.

Jian Ze and Liu Kang were dumbfounded by their lord's actions. It was then that he said to them.

"Summon all the believers. Ask them to bring their orbs and meet me at the forest's outer area. I've got an announcement to tell them" 

Hearing his words, they knew that something was wrong. So to prevent the others from dying due to this, they immediately relayed his orders to the others....
