Shen Dong ran a few laps in the small park outside the neighborhood, then returned to the entrance of the complex and entered the noodle shop he mentioned.

The name of the noodle shop was Fatty Noodle House, and the owner was a chubby man.

"Shen Dong, you're here. The usual?" The middle-aged chubby owner greeted Shen Dong immediately upon seeing him.

"Yeah, the usual." Shen Dong nodded and sat down at an empty seat.

Soon, a bowl of beef rice noodles was ready.

The owner brought it over.

Shen Dong took a bite and remembered he needed to get a portion of beef brisket noodles for Chen Yuyan.

"Sure, I'll get right on it." The owner went off to work on it.

Quickly, a serving of beef brisket rice noodles with added chili and a fried egg was prepared.

After packing it up, the owner brought the beef brisket rice noodles over.

Since there were no other customers, the owner sat down opposite Shen Dong.

"Xiao Shen, your girlfriend is really pretty. Are you two planning to get married soon?" the owner made small talk.

"I broke up with that girlfriend a couple of days ago," Shen Dong shook his head.

"What, you broke up? How come? You two seemed like a perfect couple, very much in love," the owner exclaimed in surprise.

"She said I couldn't provide the life she wanted," Shen Dong said, shaking his head with a wry smile.

"Ah, girls nowadays can be so pragmatic," the owner sighed.

"Everyone has their own ideas; no one is to blame," Shen Dong said indifferently.

At first, the breakup was very painful for him.

But after registering his marriage with Chen Yuyan, he felt extremely happy.

Different pursuits among people indeed mean they are not suited to be together.

Forcing a relationship leads only to endless arguments.

"Thanks, Fatty, but no need," Shen Dong said, somewhat bemused, shaking his head.

He didn't mention that he and Chen Yuyan were already married.

There was no need to talk about it.

After all, he would likely bring Chen Yuyan here for breakfast in the future; they could talk about it then.

Otherwise, mentioning it now would only lead to tedious explanations.

"Alright then." The owner thought Shen Dong just had his heart broken and wasn't ready for another relationship.

He figured he would bring it up again after some time had passed.

He truly thought highly of Shen Dong and would be thrilled to have him as his son-in-law.

"Fatty, I'm off." Having finished his noodles and paid, Shen Dong picked up the beef brisket rice noodles and left.

"Sure, take care," the owner said.

Upon returning home,

Shen Dong saw that Chen Yuyan had already gotten up and freshened up.

"Husband, you're back." Chen Yuyan walked over with a beaming smile upon seeing Shen Dong return.

"Here's your breakfast." Shen Dong placed the breakfast on the table.

"Alright, husband, you should go take a shower," Chen Yuyan said, noticing Shen Dong was covered in sweat, urging him to shower.

"Okay." Shen Dong nodded, picked up a change of clothes, and went into the bathroom.

After taking a shower, Chen Yuyan had just finished her breakfast.

"How was it? Tasty?" Shen Dong asked with a smile.

"Mm-hmm, so delicious," Chen Yuyan nodded repeatedly and contentedly rubbed her stomach.

"As long as you like it," Shen Dong said with a smile.

"Honey, I'll help you wash the clothes," Chen Yuyan entered the bathroom.

"You're going to wash them for me?" Shen Dong raised an eyebrow.

When he lived with Chen Yuting, she would never take the initiative to wash his clothes.

Not to mention helping him, she even expected him to wash hers.

It could be said that living with Chen Yuting, he was just a hardworking soul.

He never imagined Chen Yuyan would take the initiative to wash his clothes.

"Yes, what's with that look on your face?" Chen Yuyan asked with confusion then quickly realized something, "Is it because my sister never washed your clothes when you were living together?"

"Cough, cough!" Shen Dong coughed twice and quickly changed the subject, "Can we not talk about that? I'm very happy that you're washing my clothes. I'll go mop the floor."

"No, you have to answer me," Chen Yuyan pouted.

"Alright, it's true," Shen Dong said helplessly.

"Hmph, now you know who is better, right?" Chen Yuyan snorted with pride.

"I know, of course it's my dear wife who's the better one," Shen Dong naturally knew how to respond and hurried to get the mop, "I'm off to mop the floor."

Chen Yuyan asked while washing clothes, "Honey, what do we eat for lunch?"

Shen Dong mopping the floor, thought for a moment and said, "There's a little restaurant at the entrance of the neighborhood, it tastes pretty good, let's eat there at noon."

Chen Yuyan nodded and said, "Alright, husband."

It was a little past ten, and the noodle house had no customers; the chubby owner sat at the entrance smoking.

Seeing Shen Dong holding Chen Yuyan's hand, his eyes widened immediately.

"Shen Dong, didn't you say you broke up with your girlfriend?" The owner looked puzzled.

Being an outsider, he naturally couldn't distinguish the difference between Chen Yuyan and Chen Yuting.

"Boss, I broke up with my previous girlfriend. This is my ex-girlfriend's twin sister. We've already gotten married," Shen Dong explained.

The owner was stunned.

"Boss, hello, I might often come to your store for breakfast in the future," Chen Yuyan said, ignoring the surrounding chatter and the owner's astonishment, and greeted him openly.
