"Am I misreading you, Heaven?"
Heaven blinked countless times as if to confirm the situation. The weight on her chest pressing against her told her she wasn't hallucinating. His hot breath that was touching her upper lip backed it up. She stared at the dashing face hovering over her. His gaze was sharp, almost piercing the depths of her soul.
"Why… don't you try to see if you're wrong?" she whispered, catching the little flame beneath his pair of piercing eyes.
"Should I?" Dominic tilted his head as he lowered it, but just when his lips were a few centimeters from hers, he caught her eyes slide to the side. "So, I'm wrong?"
Dominic drew his head back, watching her look back at him.
"No, you're not wrong," she corrected, shaking her head mildly.
"If I'm not, then why were you looking away?"
