Ending remarks: some explanations of the plot
This chapter is the author answering and explaining some questions you may have had.
[Talk about the general background of the story, and add some details about the consequences of the protagonist's time travel]:
After the protagonist reconciles with Mu Xinlan, he joins forces with Han Jinniang and Xiao Qingmei to destroy the Demon Emperor and discovers the secret of the Demon Emperor's Palace. The secret is that in the original game, the invasion of the extraterritorial demons was caused by the contemporary Demon Emperor Jiang Beili and Yuxuzi.
And
Bai Qingling is Bai Feng, and Bai Feng is Bai Qingling.
Yes, they are the same person, and their personalities are the same at heart.
There were no minotaurs. Several of the disciples were originally Bai Feng's disciples. Hua Yuerong and Han Jinniang were both Bai Feng's destined confidantes.
This is also why, in the early days of Bai Feng's time travel, he could speak freely to CPU Xing'er and several disciples because the lies he thought he had made up were his true thoughts.
There is even no such game as "Xian Lian." The plots in Bai Feng's mind were all transferred to Bai Feng (himself in the past timeline) by the future Bai Qingling through the tenth-turn fairy Gu "Time Golden Cicada."
Through a few memories, you can see that Bai Qingling looks cold on the outside but is a passionate (smoldering) person in his heart. (In my memory, I used many details about his interactions with Rong'er and Mu Xinyan to lay the groundwork for this, but my brothers said they were all nonsense.)
Back to the topic.
Why did Bai Qingling transform into Bai Feng and return to the original starting point?
Because the Demon Lord doesn't understand love.
Yes, because of their cold appearance and inability to express their love, after Bai Qingling accepted the three disciples, he put them through all kinds of harsh training to the extent that they hated him. He wanted to train them into talents, let them be independent, and not be bullied.
Bai Qingling was clear about this, but he was strong enough and would rather bear all the infamy and hatred.
All this changed a hundred years later when Bai Qingling went to die in the Fenghun Valley and had a decisive battle with his uncle Mu Xinlan.
He saw the future through the reincarnation pupils in Mu Xinlan's eyes.
It turns out that in the battle of the Demon Sealing Valley, Mu Xinlan did not have the heart to kill him, and the two never met again. Later, when the extraterritorial demons invaded, Bai Qingling wanted to help but was rejected by Mu Xinlan. (Mu Xinlan hated Bai because she didn't know Bai's memory and had a misunderstanding of Bai.)
I don't know if you still remember this future. Mu Xinlan often said in the early stage, "The universe is annihilated, the entire Yunzhou continent is desolate, and only Bai Qingling and I are left."
What Mu Xinlan described was the scene after the invasion of the extraterritorial demons.
However, her strength was not enough to resist the invasion of the extraterritorial demons, so all the people on the Yunzhou continent were devastated, and only two of them survived. In the end, Mu Xinlan refused to ascend, severed her heart meridian, and died.
After seeing the future, the protagonist (Bai Qingling) discovers that there is only one way to change the ending.
So, Bai Qingling, who was confronting Mu Xinlan in the Demon Sealing Valley, told his past self all this through the Golden Cicada of Time.
On the other hand, he uses the powerful art of spiritual travel to make his soul leave his body and reincarnate into the lower world of the mortal world (Earth) to gain experience and learn worldly emotions. He wants to learn how to express love and what love is.
(The so-called Fairy Love Game does not exist at all. It is just a memory patch package that Bai Qingling made in advance for himself when he was reincarnated on Earth. After the patch package is completely read into his brain, his soul will be absorbed back to the Yunzhou Continent.)
In short, in this way.
In the past timeline, Bai Qingling went to fulfill the hundred-year appointment and had a decisive battle with Mu Xinlan in the Soul Sealing Valley. After Mu Xinlan released the Nine Nether Yin Devouring Fire, Bai Qingling deliberately got burned and retained his last breath of true energy. He returned to the Blood Kitchen of the Cangming Sect through the Nine-Aperture Life-Transforming Cicada.
After that, the three disciples stabbed him in the back.
This was also part of Bai Qingling's arrangement.
Because he wanted his original body on Earth to come down and take over another's body, so he deliberately let his most beloved Xing'er kill him.
Interested readers should have noticed that at the beginning of the story, the author used the narration more than once to express one thing - "This plot is completely a plot-killing! Bai Qingling is so cunning; how could he die at the hands of his little disciple?"
Yes, he did it on purpose.
He wants to create a new IF line for the story after his death so that he, himself, on Earth, can know the plot's development and seize the opportunity in advance. (Readers who often watch movies and TV shows about parallel worlds should understand this.)
As for Xiao Chen and Lin Mo, they are indeed people with great luck.
After Bai Qingling attained the status of Demon Lord, he became stronger at all costs because he wanted to enter the underworld and take back his master's soul.
In the process, he had no choice but to kill many innocent people and seize many souls and luck in order to strengthen himself in a short period of time.
Xiao Chen and Lin Mo were the two talented geniuses who were targeted by him. He used the pseudo-immortal-level Stealing Shadow Beads to monitor their every move from childhood to adulthood.
This is also why, in the so-called "Xianlian" game, the protagonist knows everything that Lin Mo and Xiao Chen have experienced from their perspectives.
The so-called Great Love System was created by Bai Qingling after he suddenly realized the Great Love that his master Mu Xinyan talked about. The treasures and various fairy poisons in it are all his personal collections.
In short, Bai Qingling's goal in this life is to boldly love everyone around him, wrap him in great love, and influence him so that he can join forces with them to fight against the Demon Emperor and the extraterritorial demons and usher in harmonious and happy ending.
This is roughly the plot. There must be a lot of details that need to be filled in, but Snow Leopard can't do anything about it.
This story is logically self-consistent, and it took me a lot of energy to write it, but everyone is obviously more concerned about Sese and the extra chapters.
In short, Bai Qingling's "great love" runs through the whole story, which also echoes the book's title.
When it comes down to it, the plot after the Magic Conference is nothing more than continuous GHS and then rushing to the final happy ending with the harem group.
