"LET'S GO!" Crow leaned back in his chair and chugged the energy drink on his desk. Excitedly he tabbed out of the game to message his friend. They decided to hop on a call to talk about it.

"So you reached the top 100?" his friend said through static.

"Yeah! is your internet alright?"

There was silence from his friend's side of the call. Crow looked confused and checked to see if his friend was still connected. His computer was frozen and his cursor wouldn't move. When he stood up a red light flashed across his face causing him to fall and cover his eyes.

"What the fuck?" Crow looked up at where the light was.

The symbol for 'War of Heroes' appeared above this message. Crow stood up confused and sat on his bed but the message followed him.

"Uh, no thanks?" attempting to press no the message glitched and reformed in front of him once again.

"Do I have any other choice?" pressing the yes button Crow yelled and his body dematerialized. Rematerializing he appeared in the pick your class screen of 'War of Heroes'. He wasn't playing the game, he was there physically. Panicked Crow tried to move but was stuck in place. He paused and took a deep breath. Scrolling through the classes he's already tried he landed on 'Artificer'.

"Well, it's the only one I haven't tried," he sighed and smiled, "Let's give it a shot".

A disembodied voice could be heard throughout this dark space. "Would you like to stay with your current appearance?" The feminine voice asked.

"Sure"

"Fantastic. Starting 'War of Heroes: Remastered'"

"Wait, what?" Crow said dematerializing once again. This time he appeared in a forest of trees with purple leaves and the scent of honey. In front of him was a gold HUD.

"Oh, shit this is real." starting to have a small panic attack he sat down. His stats were that of a new player, pretty bad. He read over them and sighed heavily. His eyes were caught at his special ability.

"I've never heard of 'Small Construct'," he said pressing the special ability when another smaller HUD appeared.

Small Construct: Create a small being to aid you. This construct will be permanent and will listen to whatever you ask.

"Interesting. Use Special Ability"

Nothing happened.

"Use Small Construct"

Nothing happened.

You must create the construct.

Crow stood up annoyed. His face got visibly angrier and he kicked a tree causing him to fall over in pain. After he got back up he went to explore the forest. As soon as he started walking he heard footsteps behind him and then a blade was put to his throat.
