Chapter 3 - Conditions

"Even if you don't love them?" He asked looking at me seriously wanting me to answer it seriously too,

"I don't think I can wait for someone at my age now, so I don't care about love now, because my time to love someone is gone now", I said as I sighed,

"I don't think you will last with that kind of mindset," He said,

"I can say the same to you, wanting to marry someone because you were feeling lonely and pressured by your family," I said,

"Aren't you also on the same spot as me, that's why you also shout those words yesterday!" He said,

They became quiet and for some time they felt suffocating because of the quiet atmosphere, They continued writing their conditions, the air became serious and after we finished writing we become hesitant,

"I-" Without finishing grace words,

"I've finished mine" Bill suddenly shouted that he's finished, seems like he purposely interrupted grace to show her that he was the one who made the first move,

"What a childish jerk," Grace thought gritting her teeth because she was pissed,

They handed each their paper to each other, reading through their terms and conditions,

[Bill's Conditions]

Bill Clinton Hera will be hereby referred to as (Party A) representing a Contractant of the agreement, And Grace Hernandez will be hereby referred to as (Party B) representing a Contractor of the agreement.

1. Party A must buy Party B's needs or wants.

"This makes me look like a gold digger, but I agreed to this deal because I want to marry a rich guy...I can't deny it" I said,

2. Party A must report in advance all of the important things to Party B.

3. Party A mustn't engage in any illegal actions towards Party B, this condition also applies to Party B.

4. Party A and B should avoid each other's personal space when they are alone together

"So it means we have to act like we are a married couple when we are in front of the public's eyes," I said in my thoughts,

I finished reading his terms and conditions, which made me sleepy because of the boring phrases and other things not necessarily, although I did learn about him, he's allergic to going out and wasting time.

[Grace's conditions]

1. Grace will follow bill's orders and wants.

"This made me look like a boss instead, but I do want her to follow my orders so we can carry out a perfect married couple," Bill said in his thoughts,

2. Bill must respect grace's private space and should not pry into her business.

"But, I want to know more about her if I want to be a good husband..."

3. Both people should not do anything toward each other without consent.

While reading bill had a blush on his ears, imagining grace with a seductive expression.

"What did I just imagine?"

4. When deciding on something connected to the contract, they should talk about it with each other before making a move.

"I do think this is a valid condition",

5. If one wants to end the contract, the contract will be immediately terminated.

Her conditions are just short but detailed, I do think it's a good thing she added that to her last condition because I also did add it on mine, it means we both have the idea that this contract is just temporary.

"Now that we've finished this we can wrap this up, also this is the engagement ring," Bill said as he stood up heading towards his drawer, he took out a box,

"Here" He opened the box and took the ring he then lay his hand in the air asking for my hand,

I offered him my hand and he fit my ring in, it was surprisingly a fit and the ring had a pear-shaped diamond in it, I looked towards him and he was so close, he smiled at me looking so joyful,

I flushed with redness like I had a fever in me,

"Hey what do you think?" He asked,

"Well it's beautiful," I said with a smile,

He suddenly puts down my hand and walk behind me, I looked at him and he was just cooling himself down,

What grace didn't know was that bill was having trouble controlling himself from his in-love effect,

after calming down,

"I'll guide you to your room," bill said,

"What I have a room?!" I ask with a shout,

"Yes, you have" bill rubbed his ear because of the sound traveling only inside the room hurt his ears because of grace's shout,

Bill guided grace to her room, the hallway they walk into is refreshing because of the garden and the open space, the place was filled with peacefulness but also loneliness, a big house can make you feel overwhelmed,

"By the way where do your grandma lives? It seems she had a long way to go to rush here",

I asked because I saw a lot of sweat from bill's grandma which made me worry,

"She lives across my mansion, the biggest one you saw," He said,

"That palace-like mansion? What you guys are neighbors?!" Grace said

"Yeah all of the family have a house here because we own the land," He said without even a slight reaction to it,

"You guys are so rich what are you doing here? Struggling with marriage" grace said,

We already arrived at the front door of my room and I saw the bed and it had its Restroom and a closet room,

"You can sleep here now and also tomorrow I will introduce you to the family, won't worry just act like a good fiance tomorrow", bill had said,

"Also you can call me bill, and I can call you grace right?", he said,

"You can, anyway thank you for everything, Bill," I said with a smile thanking him,

"It be heading out now," he said and I waved goodbye to him.
