Outside the passage, the group arrived in a vast tomb chamber.
In this layer of the tomb chamber, there were no elaborate adornments, only a tall platform with a hundred steps leading down to it.
Atop the platform rested a colossal coffin.
Around the coffin, sculptures of the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Black Tortoise, and Vermillion Bird—the Four Beasts—were vividly carved, as if they still possessed life, continuously exuding a daunting pressure.
The crowd watched the massive coffin, bound tightly with chains, with solemn expressions.
Merely gazing upon it, they felt as though a tremendous pressure was descending upon them.
Tan Ning spoke with a grave tone, "It's been a million years since it died, and has been suppressed beneath this coffin for so long. Yet, it still emits such powerful pressure. How mighty must it have been during its life?"
No one answered.
And no one could provide an answer.
