The Attack on Barthia

One week later, the Holy Order were commanded to wander into neutral lands and capture as many kingdoms as they could so they could have more power than me. The first kingdom on the list was the Kingdom of Barthia, a kingdom made of High Classed Assassin. Zain told the other members that he could handle it alone. They complied and left him to it. Zain entered the kingdom and got off his horse.

"Hey look there! That's a Holy Order member! Be on guard!" An assassin said.

"This can go one of two ways...Either you all comply and let this kingdom be Uphelia's property or we can do this the hard way." Zain glared and summoned his sword.

"Like hell we will just cower down to the likes of you Uphelian Scum!" A male said and readied his weapon.

"Target locked." A woman said crouching on a tree branch then fired a bullet from her sniper.

Zain's aura deflected the bullet then his eye twitched in annoyance. He got in a stance then dashed towards the assassins. They all bellowed and dashed to Zain.

Meanwhile in Lunia...

"Queen Stella! We got word that the Holy Order are attacking Barthia!" A knight ran to me.

"Barthia?" I asked.

"Barthia is one of the allied kingdoms that lies within neutral land. They are a kingdom full of assassins. It appears Zephyr is making his move now." Victoria explained.

"Hmph. Let's head towards Barthia and prevent them from taking away their kingdom!" I said.

"Right!" Victoria nodded.

Victoria and I ran outside and went towards the stables, grabbing our horses. We got on our horses and rode towards Barthia.

Zain had already taken down multiple assassins without breaking a sweat. He looked around and dashed towards the castle and blocked a slash from a masked girl. He glared then pushed her back and slashed at her but she was already gone. The girl appeared behind Zain and slashed at his legs. Zain blocked the attack and jumped back. He looked back and glared at the girl.

"You're pretty fast...Who are you?" Zain asked.

"My name isn't important!" The girl bellowed and kicked Zain back then jumped backwards. She slammed her hand on the ground and a magic circle appeared under her. "You'll be dead before you'll even get a chance to know my name!"

"Then let's test that theory." Zain said and got in a stance.

"Attack Stance: Braver!" The girl bellowed and her strength raised but her defenses lowered.

She dashed to Zain and slashed quickly. Zain blocked the attack and the girl kicked him back then vanished and appeared above him and threw ten knives at him. He deflected them all and slashed in the air, releasing a blade beam. The girl blocked the blade beam and grunted then sliced it in half.

"You will know judgement." Zain said and his golden eyes shined brightly. "Divine Saber!"

He slashed and released a massive blade beam. The girl slammed her hand on the ground and a magic circle appeared around her.

"Defense Stance: Protector!" She bellowed and got in a guarding stance then blocked the blade beam, sliding back. She grunted and her mask began to crack. She bellowed and tried to withstand the blade beam.

"Resistance is futile." Zain said and the blade beam exploded, blowing the girl away.

I caught the girl and noticed her mask break in half. I looked ahead, seeing Zain then smirked. I set the girl down gently then held my hand out summoning my new Vesper Argentum.

"So you once again step in my way...Times are different Stella! I am the Light that will show this land True Judgement! Your darkness will never pierce my Divine Aura!" Zain got in a stance.

"It's Stella..." A man said and smiled weakly.

"Our saving grace has appeared on the battlefield.." A woman coughed a bit of blood then closed her eyes.

I watched the woman die before my very eyes then looked at Zain and my dark aura appeared around me. Zain dashed towards me and slashed. I blocked the slash then we entered a blade lock.

"You have no chance against me Stella!" Zain bellowed and we pushed each other back.

We slashed and clashed multiple times. I parried his next attack and stuck my sword into the ground and my Unholy Gauntlets appeared around my wrist then I palmed his sword out the way and punched his chest. He grunted and slid back. I summoned my bow and shot two arrows at him.

"She's using her entire arsenal against me...She's gotten more serious.." Zain said as he deflected my arrows.

The arrows exploded and smoke covered his vision. He got in a guarding stance then saw something come from the smoke then slashed and noticed it was a piece of my armor. He looked surprised then I appeared behind him and my red eyes shined. I slashed at his back and struck him. He groaned and stumbled forward.

The girl sat up and saw me battling Zain. She grunted and noticed Victoria holding her. She looked at Victoria.

"It's not safe to interfere...These are two of the strongest warriors in the land. If you go there, you will die." Victoria said.

"But...I have to defend my home..! I can't let these scum take it away!" The girl said.

Victoria and the girl noticed more Holy Order members appear in the kingdom. The girl's parents walked out the castle then readied their blades.

"More of them..?" The girl stood up slowly.

"Kotome? Kotome where are you?!" The girl's mother asked.

"Mama!" The girl ran to her mother then a man stepped in front of Kotome and punched her away. Kotome coughed blood then crashed into a tree.

"Zain! King Zephyr told us to just destroy this kingdom!" The man said.

"Siegfried? Destroy the kingdom? I thought he wanted to conquer?" Zain jumped back and panted.

"The plans changed. We are destroying all Kingdoms allied with Lunia!" Siegfried said.

I looked surprised then glared and my dark aura surged powerfully. They both looked at me and noticed purple lightning crackling around me.

"I won't let you live long enough for you all to even reach my part of land!" I bellowed and the marking on my cheek shined and grew into multiple curse marks that spread across my neck, arm and leg.

"Who is this woman?" Siegfried asked.

"A nobody. I will handle her." Zain said and got in a stance.

I growled and my eyes flashed white. I grunted and purple lightning began to crackle around my body more. Zain watched and his eyes shined then his light aura became more powerful.

'This dark power...it's unnatural that not even my Divine Light Aura can't overpower it. This darkness is something only a demon could possess..' Zain thought to himself.

Siegfried began to do as Zephyr commanded. Kotome stood up and dashed to Siegfried and bellowed then slashed with her dagger. He caught the dagger and twisted her arm. She groaned loudly then he pushed her back.

"Unfortunately you are no exception to the rule. Stay still...and die." Siegfried said then went for a stab at Kotome.

Kotome flinched and opened her eyes slowly, only to see her father taking the blow for her. He looked back at Kotome and smiled weakly. Siegfried glared and slashed upwards, slicing her father in half right before her very eyes. Kotome looked surprised and tears formed in her eyes. Her mother ran to Siegfried and began beating on his arm.

"You bastard! You killed my husband! I'll make you pay for that!" Kotome's mother yelled then Siegfried grabbed her neck and slammed her to the ground and shoved his sword through her chest.

Victoria watched and her demonic aura awakened. Siegfried looked at Victoria and smirked. Victoria glared at Siegfried then summoned her Lunar Arms.

"We meet again, Victoria. Shall we finish what we didn't from 3 years ago?" Siegfried chuckled and stood up.

I roared and my demonic aura surged wildly. Zain grunted and covered his eyes. I vanished and appeared in front of Zain then slashed and blew him away. He crashed through multiple trees and I bellowed. My desire to kill was growing more and more. I began laughing and covered one eye and panted. The sclera of my left eye slowly turned black.

"Kill...I will...kill you...Zain..." I said and laughed then dashed towards Zain and my Vesper Argentum vanished then the Seven Suns Blade appeared in my hand.

Zain landed on his feet and his light aura surged then he blocked my attack. I laughed and my black wing emerged from the left side of my back. He bellowed and his aura formed angel wings. We pushed each other back then dashed to each other and clashed multiple times. Each clash caused a repulsive force of energy. I laughed and my heart thumped harder and harder then I bellowed and a second black wing emerged from my back. I pushed Zain away and flew to the sky. Zain flew up after me and closed his eyes and his angelic armor appeared around him.

"Heh you have no chance against us! Look at Zain he's getting serious! That means he's ready to end it all, so that means I'm gonna end everything here as well! It was fun battling you again, but all good things must come to an end!" Siegfried laughed and kicked Victoria back. He snapped his fingers. "Purging Flash."

A massive ball of light crashed down on the kingdom of Barthia and nuked the entire kingdom. Kotome looked surprised and watched her kingdom reach a state of nothingness. Victoria could barely keep her eyes opened, but watched the kingdom slowly become nothing before passing out.
