The moment Hosoda Chiho had asked Hana this question and then turned to her, the young woman's blood almost froze in her veins.
She didn't think that the young woman had recognized her after all this time, and she didn't want to give her satisfaction.
So she tried to keep her calm, as she had done all the times she had imagined in her mind this possible scenario. Then, feigning ignorance, she answered the question with a clear voice.
"That doesn't tell me anything at all, since I didn't go to school in this area," she smiled softly. "Why do you ask?"
Chiho still had her arms crossed, and Hana's answer must have displeased her because she frowned slightly while biting her upper lip. Then she began to smile back.
"For nothing..." She said as she swept the air with her hand. "I was wondering if we took the same classes since your face looked familiar, but I must have mistaken you for someone else."
