Five years earlier, in a countryside high school.
Sitting silently at the back of the classroom, Hana calmly reviewed her notes from the previous lesson. She had nothing better to do, since she didn't want to talk to anyone.
It was always better to be alone, than to have to tell others about herself. In a discussion, things were never different: everyone talked to the others but also about themselves, giving out more or less personal things; and it just so happened that Hana didn't want to talk to people, or about herself. She had lost the desire to do so since the end of high school, and was not sure that this would ever change; because some things were far too personal to be shared with others.
