The morning sun streamed through the sheer curtains, casting a warm glow on Lyse's face. She stirred, her eyelids fluttering open. Levi was beside her, his gaze fixed on her with an intensity that made her heart flutter. A soft smile played on his lips as he leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead.
"Good morning, beautiful," he murmured, his voice husky with sleep.
Lyse smiled back, snuggling closer to him. "Morning, Levi."
She was surprised and grateful for the lack of awkwardness the morning after. Her body ached, she was sore in sensitive places and she felt a little shy but Levi made her feel comfortable.
He pulled her closer against him, the warmth of their bodies and the comfort of each other's presence soothing their souls. As the sun climbed higher, they reluctantly pulled apart, the lingering warmth of their embrace still lingering in the air.
"I am going to make breakfast," Levi announced, rising from the bed. "You just relax."
