Chapter 17: I Welcome The Young Lord!

"Anyway, do you know the way to get to the Gu family?" Gu Tian said as he wiped off the dust from his clothes.

"Th-the Gu family? You mean the behemoth Gu family of the Central Region?" the girl said with a shocked expression, wondering what type of relationship he had with the behemoth Gu family.

"Yeah, now will you tell me where it is?" Gu Tian said, his patience running out from dealing with the girl who kept getting shocked so easily.

"U-Uh, you just have to go straight to the right and you'll enter Lobero City, the capital city of the Central Region. From there, you can find the Gu family mansion," she said while stuttering a little.

After flying for more than an hour, I finally got out of the forest and headed straight to the right direction. My destination? The capital city of the Central Region, Lobero City.

There's nothing good about flying continuously," I said as I stopped in the middle of the air. After that, I flew higher up into the sky and then started to fly at my top speed.

At this speed, it didn't take me more than 15 minutes to travel from the forest to Lobero City.

I didn't land in the city but instead hovered in the air for some time, looking around to see where the Gu family was.

When Gu Tian got outside the gate, he was still in the air, hovering peacefully.

As he looked at the ground, he noticed all the people present to welcome him started to look at him.

After looking once, Gu Tian slowly started to walk on the air, making the air his staircase to go down.

When the people ready to welcome Gu Tian saw this, they were all surprised by his entrance, increasing his prestige over them.

As he stepped on the ground, he looked at the people once more as the Patriarch of the Gu family of the Mortal Realm hurriedly walked forward and kneeled on one leg, making everyone kind of shocked as they didn't expect their Patriarch to kneel before the Young Master of the Gu family from the Upper Realm.

"I, Gu Wanghao, the Patriarch of the branch family of the Gu, welcome the Young Master of the Gu family with all due respect and reverence," the Patriarch said as he looked at the people of his branch not kneeling, which somehow made him a little pissed, so he glared at them with a bit of killing intent, clearly aimed at the people of the branch Gu family.

"We welcome the Young Lord of the Gu family," they all shouted as they also kneeled on one leg, showing him the respect he deserved.
