I Hate The Gods! But Why Are You Guys Love Me?!

One moment, you are reading your favorite novel for the third time, and the next thing you know, you are transmigrated into another world in the body of someone you know. I got transferred into the body of someone called Richard Cunningham.

This is the person I hate. Why do I hate him, you might ask. He is a character in a novel I read in my past life. He is a side character that appears in a novel called Seven Lights of Heaven. I hate him because he is one of those characters that is easy to hate.

Arrogant, lustful, stupid, cowardly, and weak.

In the first arc, he is a strong character, but the reader will know he is weak when the next arc appears. He did not have any talent and only depended on his family's wealth to make him strong.

He is your typical 'Young Master' stereotype. I don't mind reading a stereotypical young master every now and then. However, I hate it when that young master frequently appears in the story. If not for the rest of the story that lured me in, I'd already dropped this novel.

I shake my head and look out the window of my room. I can see a massive tower in the distance and sigh a little.

Just like many Korean novels, this world is one of tower climbing to get the power to beat even gods. The tower in front of me is something that appeared thirty years ago. This tower is something that connects many legends and many worlds. Each floor is like another world as each world is the size of at least the size of a country like Australia.

There are a hundred floors; you must enter a dungeon to get to the next floor. What is a dungeon? It is a pocket dimension within the tower. It is a place where monsters spawn at higher degrees. Monsters still spawn on the tower, but the one spawned outside the dungeon is not a lot, and they are relatively weak. However, they can evolve and get stronger the longer you leave them to be.

This is one of the plot points that will appear in the future.

I shake my head and put that away for now. It will happen in the twelfth arc, and I must plan for my soon-to-be doomed fate.

According to this body's memory, I have one month before the start of the canon timeline. I need to prepare for the incoming disaster. Currently, I am on the fourth floor of the tower and my family's base of power.

The Gods in this world are assholes. Every time the MC interacts with them, they attack him, and in return, the MC kills them in the future arc. I know that the gods are not all bad, but the ones shown in the book are bad.

They are arrogant and only think of us as toys just because they climbed the tower earlier than we did. However, they can be arrogant because they have the power to back it up. To be recognized as a god, you must arrive at the realm of Gods, floor eighty and above.

However, even they can only reach the floor eighty-seven, which is only achieved by the head of each pantheon of the world. Oh, yeah. Did I tell you that most of the mythology figures on earth are people who climbed the tower in the past or the other world? Well, they are.

The strongest Gods in the book are Zeus, Odin, Sun Wukong, Dagda, Amaterasu, Shiva, Ra, and Tiamat. There are ten of them, but the last one was not mentioned. According to the author, the last one comes from the Iranian pantheon.

Many theories are roaming around, but many theorists think the last strongest God is Verethragna, the God of Victory. However, that is only a theory! A book theory! Ahem.

I shake my head and read the description of the talent before me.

I read the description one more time and now understand the reason why the gods really hate the MC. It was because of this talent!
