Chapter 221- Leo’s excitement

Zain understood her silent words and tightened his hold. His hands trembled a bit but he composed himself. He placed a tender kiss on top of her head and felt at home. Although for a moment, he wanted to bask in her comfort and he did so. If he could, he would never let her go again but he had lost that right long back.

After a while when her sobbing slowed down, Zain asked softly, "Better now?"

Rizi looked up from his embrace and replied softly, "Much better!"

She slowly moved away from him and wipes her cheeks and eyes using both of her hands. Her eyes were swollen red and her nose was red.

She was about to thank him but before words could leave her lips, Zain interrupted her, "I should leave. It's pretty late."

Rizi nodded, "ok!"

They both went silent staring towards the door.

Taking a last glance in her direction, Zain turned on his heels and left the room.

As Zain left the room, Rizelle plopped down on the couch and hugged her knees.
