He truly was a stranger

"Lorcan? What are you doing here?"

At the sight of the man appearing in front of him, Theo asked in surprise. "I still have my duty to protect Miss Mia Grace, Sir" With a calm gaze, Lorcan responded. Hushing down the man wholly. "Didn't you affirm you would take days off?" Theo queried once again in puzzlement.

Noticing something was off. "I changed my mind, Sir" Lorcan replied. "Well, it is extremely strange. Mia is already in the living room. She changed into some clothes already. It is as if you two have planned all about this to meet up today" With a frown, Theo stated.

Expressing how much he disliked to witness his dear daughter getting ready since the early morning before he headed out for work even. And the fact that her bodyguard had returned somehow annoyed him. Lorcan did not say anything. He remained silent with a cold gaze.

It seemed the young woman had some plans today. "Take care of my daughter then. Don't let anyone step near to her. You have right to beat up some creeps if they ever try to approach my daughter. I will handle the rest about being sued or some" In a low tone, Theo allowed.

Patting the shoulder of the man.

"I understand, Sir" In awareness, Lorcan nodded. And so Theo walked near to his car to head to the company. Once he disappeared, Lorcan stepped into the villa, only to encounter the young woman on phone with someone in living room. "Separate them first of all"

Mia ordered in a cold tone. A concerned expression across the face of the young woman worried Lorcan somehow. Why did she have such a expression in the morning? Was there any problems occurring? Without realizing himself, the man stood at the entrance of the villa;

while his gaze focused on the young woman on a phone call. "Alright. Try to show some other. I will be there in a few minutes" Grabbing the shoulder bag from her side, Mia jumped up from the lounge in hurry. Only to notice the presence of the man in the end.

"Oh! Lorcan! You arrived in time! Let's go!" As soon as she hung up the phone, the young woman raised her tone in bliss. Stepping near to him with a grin tugged at her lips. The rush she brought up confused the man. "Is everything doing well?" He questioned with a frown.

While they two stepped outside at the same time. "No, actually I need to get to the LYSSA shop in a few minutes. There is some issues happening between the customersm I heard it is serious" Each by each, in short, she detailed. Hitting the man with realization.

His brows rose.

So the young woman was having troubles with her fashion shop. "I will get the car ready. Please wait from here" Lorcan instructed. Earning a nod back from the young woman as agreement. And so the man dashed towards the car. Then they headed to the shop in minutes.

"I will follow you after. You should get inside and handle it by yourself" As soon as they reached in front of the shop, the man dropped Mia off. Telling her to step inside first since it would take a few minutes more to park the car. "All right then! I will be heading inside first!" she concurred.

Hopping off from the car in hurry. The young woman in v-neck short sleeves beige crop top had arrived to her own fashion shop. The brown colored high waisted wide leg pants matched with her brunette colored shoulder bag. "Mistress! Welcome!" the employees bowed in speed.

And everyone in the shop quieted down, only to turn their attention on the young woman. "Mistress, they are separated as you commanded" the manager quickly approached near to Mia to inform the situation. "Who is in the wrong?" The young woman questioned in curiosity.

Brows wrinkled at the same time.

"Miss Luna is in wrong in my humble opinion, Mistress. The first customer was instructing someone to pack the shirt but Miss Luna suddenly claimed to have ordered it from the start. She affirmed she had told the girls to pack the shirt for her boyfriend since the beginning.

The first customer did not mind and let her took it. Yet, she continued. She asked for all the clothes he chose. Then they started to quarrel over the matter. Also Miss Luna used hands against the man so the first customer got really upset" In details, the manager explained.

Luna Joel. The woman who stood in the VVIP customers list. Since the opening ceremony, Luna became an important client. But everyone in the shop knew how Luna Joel was an ignorant customer who would pick a fight on others whenever she paid visit to the store in these days.

Even though, Mia spent time in the villa since the very first day of shop opening, the manager informed every single thing in details to her through the phone call each day. The reason why the young woman was aware of the situation. "Where is she then?" Mia questioned.

"She just left, Mistress"

The manager apprised. "Did the first customer leave also?" With a frown displayed across her face still, the young woman asked. This time, the manager shook her head. "He is in the office, Mistress. It seems like he wants to complain about this issue" she stated her point of view.

"Alright. Make sure to distract the other customers. I don't want them to spread rumors" Due to fury, Mia's tome switched to a serious one. "I understand, Mistress" and so the manager was left behind to handle the rest with a grin tugged at lips while Mia headed to office.

She inhaled a deep breath before walking into the office. Controlling a business was truly exhausting. She should have stayed in villa peacefully. Yet her dreamy ass wanted to build her goal into reality. Now, look at the problems she had to solve all by herself as superior.

"Ugh, what's the point of regretting anyway?" Under her breath, Mia let out a groan in disappointment. Her hand reached to the door handle. Opening it, only to meet the two men sitting in the office while back facing the door. "My apologies for delay. I appreciate your patience"

Wearing a grin, Mia closed the door behind. Walking near to the table to settle down at the swivel chair. But her whole body froze as soon as she sat down on the seat. The sight of the man's face entered. Causing her eyes to widen in pure shock. "Mister Escort Greyson?"

A murmur escaped from her lips.

Staring into the sea green eyes of the man across her. He appeared in front of her at last. "Using Mister sounds quite distant, Mia. It is as if we have never been friends before. Feel free to address me in an informal way as usual" With an alluring smile, Escort allowed.

Relishing the surprised expression of the young woman quietly. "Wait, why are you here? Were you the one who got into argument with Luna Joel?" Slowly, the young woman regained consciousness. "No, I am the one who got into conflict" A man from the side finally voiced.

Attracting Mia's attention at last. "Oh, my apologies. Is there anything I can help you with?" Mia frowned. Peering at the man who she had never met before. He was a complete stranger to her. His blonde hair and brown eyes were new for the young woman.

"I would love it if you restrain that Luna Joel from visiting here" Escort interrupted. "I am talking. Can you shut the fuck up for a moment?" But the man with brown eyes taunted. The interaction between the two men perplexed Mia. They looked close enough somehow.

Were these two friends by any chance? "I am considering for you, Blake. In that way, you can come here often as you please without any hassles" Convincing the man, Escort smiled. Blake. Mia noted the name of her customer. It was her first time hearing this man's name.

He truly was a stranger.

"Shut your mouth and leave already. No one asked for your presence here" Harsh words escaped between Blake's lips. Stunning Mia wholly. These two were like cat and mouse. "Well, I wonder who got hit by a woman just to defend you" Escort raised his right brow.

"Um, my apologies for interrupting but could you please say your request? I got some business to finish today" With an awkward beam, the young woman cut the conversation off between the two men. Capturing their attention. "I don't have bad intention to that girl"

Blake voiced. Staring at the young woman. "But I want the limited shirt she robbed from me. That's why I am here. Not to complain about her" Disclosing the truth, Blake stated. Relieving Mia. Thank goodness, this man could understand at least. "Of course!" A grin tugged at her lips.

"You can ask for the shirt through the manager. She will get everything done in a day for you" Mia claimed. Earning a nod back from the man in understanding. "Ah, you are so pure, my dear Blake. You should give that woman some lessons to learn" In annoyed tone, Escort groaned.

His arm wrapped around the shoulder of the man. "Fuck off before I hit you, Escort Greyson. Quit acting like a close friend. I don't even want to see your face" Through gritted teeth, Blake hissed. The moment between the two men left the young woman in silence.

"Gay.." and she murmured.
