Rendezvous at Pancham Puri

"It's almost time"

Valentine D' Souza was standing in front a bustling puri shop called 'Pancham puri'.

Crowds of people were continuously enter leaving and waiters serving all kinds of different puris.

Many people were voraciously eating puri and the table was constantly being cleared and occupied. It was a miracle how such a small restaurant could accommodate such a large number of people.

Valentine looked at his watch, he was wearing his favourite 'Titoni brand watch' given to him by his father when he was young before that 'incident occurred'. However the watch now only served him as a reminder to those bitter memories with his father which he wished to forget.

He signed and waited, just when it was going to hit 4:00 pm he saw Aryan appear in the distance.

Valentine thought

'Oh he is sharp exactly on time'

He pretended not to notice him and stood in line and Aryan also quickly stood behind him.

While the place was crowded and Aryan passed a chit to Valentine who quickly put it his pocket.

The line soon moved and they both entered the restaurant and sat I separate benches.

Valentino gave a quick order to the waiter boy who was passing by

"One masala puri bhaji please"

It was a classic dish of pancham puri

"Ok sir!' The waiter boy nodded his head

The other strangers around him began to ordering their own dishes. In this place there is no private seat, you sit if there is place at the table.

Valentine opened the chit which he recieved from Aryan

'Sir there was recently a shoot out in which me and Osho were involved. Osho was injured and barely survived. However I also encountered useful information. Do you know of Varadarajan's illegitimate son Vijay Mudaliar? I think he is somehow behind the recent gang wars and his father's disappearance..."

The chit told Valentino everything about what happened earlier including requesting help for paying the hospital bill since they risked their lives to get this information to them

Valentino's lips were twitching after seeing the cost of the hospital bill

'Are we being used as a free ATM machine?'

Valentino signed

'Anyway I'll just forward this information to inspectors Fadnavis. He can decide what to do next'

He quickly took his notepad and ripped a page off it.

He also took out his fountain pen of the 'Airmail' brand and began to write his reply.

And just as he finished writing the waiter came served him a plate of hot and fresh masala puri bhaji.

Relishing the spicy and sour taste, with a bit of country side appeal in it Valentine finished his appetising breakfast.

He came out the shop and Aryan bumped into him accidently

"Oh I am so sorry! Are you okay?'

"No, no it's okay no problem"

Valentino quickly passed the reply chit to Aryan who took and put in his pocket.

They both parted ways and walked in opposite directions.

Once he was far enough Aryan took out the chit from his pocket and read it

The reply from Valentine was simple

'Thank you for passing on the information despite the risks you have had to take About the hospital bill matter I'll inform Inspector Fadnavis about it. Take care

-thomcha vishwaso ( TL:- Your faith fully) Valentine D'Souza'

After reading the chit Aryan tore it into pieces and threw into the neatest dustbin. No one else should read it after all.

Aryan licked his lips feeling the lingering taste of crispy puri and bhaji. Back in the real world his grandfather had once both him to Pancham Puri when he was much younger.

Being reminded of his dead grandfather Aryan signed and ruffled his hair.

Now that he finished his rendezvous with the police he had one other thing to do now

Aryan thought

'Look like it's time I go and meet the protagonist'
