WHO STARTS ACADEMY ARC LIKE THAT???

normally in fantasy action novels, whenever the academy arc starts, it's either heartwarming slice of life or....main character's problematic day to day life in school with his friends or confronting with bullies.

it's sort of a build up which prepares us readers for what's coming, along with some nice school life moments.

but ..... I don't have such luxury.

"J-James.... wh-what's happening??what do they mean the academy is under attack???"

Nora looks at me with a scared expression.

"it's okay Nora.... there must be some sort of mistake. this is one of the best academies, remember."

right now sirens are buzzing...and students are panicking, since we were told that our academy is under attack.... the most most secure academy is under attack.....

'yes.....One of the best Academies, that nurtures future heroes.'

According to the original novel 'to be hero' this devolopment happened solely to showcase how powerful 'James' is.

with his amazing powers he alone defeats some of the intruders while also helping students out....but I'm not James, I'm not the powerhouse.

'still there's nothing to worry about, after all...'

"it's alright dear students!!"

a manly voice came from behind. followed by the voice, a muscular man with black hair in a track suit.

' this man is Thomas banks, our P.E teacher, he must have came to sort this situation out and calm the scared students.'

suddenly all the sirens stopped.

"haha apparently, there was some defect with our security system and few intruders broke in .....but don't fret, our staff had already taken care of them."

with a smile, he gives us a thumbs up.

*all students groans*

'hehe, since alex already knew about the situation, he wanted to avoid the casualties that happened. hence, he tipped the whole situation off to the authorities yesterday.'

"see Nora, I told ya. this is the most secure school."

"haha..... I guess I was just little scared."

"a little~"

"stop teasing me !!!"

' haha, Nora looks calm now.'

but still.....

in a dark room, two individuals were talking. One of them a little injured while the other had few bruises. Suddenly, the injured one screamed.

"IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A TOP SECRET PLAN!!!!"

the other one joined as well.

"breaking the backbone my ass.....more then half of our men are captured...what do we do now???"

the injured guy then bring out a potion from his pocket and gulp it down. Due to the potion, his wounds started to heal and he continued.

" first of all we'll get out of here and meet with 'Calvin', after that....well....we will wait."

the other guy's face changed the moment he heard the name. With a little hesitation he asked.

" are you sure kenny??? will it be okay ???"

Kenny, who was now all healed answered.

" what other choice do we have Sam. we'll just go to him and tell him what happened, I'm sure he'll find out who leaked the information."

Sam pursed his lips but soon agreed.

"fine, we'll go and tell him but if anything happens, you'll take responsibility for it. am I clear?"

kenny answered.

" yeah all clear. Now let's go before those heroes capture us too."

with that both of them vanished.

the entrance ceremony is now over and we're moving towards our classes. Apparently both me and Nora are in different classess.

"I can't believe it!! there must have been something wrong with their measuring device!!"

she's been rambling about how unfair the rank measuring device was and how because of we can't be in the same class.

'but still, this devolopment must have scared alex too. haha since in the original, both me and Nora were in his class but now I'm in different class due to me not having any rank ...still, if this goes on I'll die before even entering a dungeon.

"Alright this is my class. See you in lunch break."

Nora looked a bit sad but when I pat her head she cheered up.

"alright see ya!!"

with that we both bid each other adieu.

inside class-A, a class where students with high potential can be in. A certain student was distressed.

'how did this happened??? wasn't james supposed to be in class-A, along with Nora.....did the plot changed ?'

the student was non other than Alex Turner, he thought that since he knew most of the future devolopments that will happen in the plot. He could easily survive this world .

" and how come there was no rank!!!"

but his expectations were shattered the moment he saw how James Usher, the main protagonist, doesn't even have a rank. hence, he was in a lower level classroom.

'did things changed since I'm here or....is it because I took the 'seed of growth'.'

'seed of growth' plays a potential role in the plot. Alex thought since james is going to be overpowered anyways, he'll just use the seed on himself.

'well ....there's no use worrying over what happened now. I'll just have to move forward and try my best to survive, while also getting enough power to save others.'

with that Alex took a deep sigh, since he know that now he'll have to do his best now that the hero he was supposed to rely on doesn't have much power.

'Alright....so here I am'

right now, I was inside class-D, aka support class. students of this class learns, not fighting...but forging weapons, making armours and potions as well as being able to support heroes.

'well atleast our teacher is good."

on the podium, right in front of us, was the infamous professor Vincent Miller. he's one of the many people that helped alex and not just that, being a professor is just an alias, in reality he's a SS-rank hero whose going to breakthrough soon.

"Alright students, we have plenty of time for introductions so we'll just skip the formalities. open your workbooks."

*groaning students noises*

'he's not liked by many students but if there's someone he cares for, he'll put his life on the line to save them. That's the type of character he is.'

"after long boring classes finally I can meet Nora."

as I entered the cafeteria the first thing I noticed was how much this place looked like a 5-star resturant.

'alright let's see what's in the menu...wait menu'

suddenly a thought struck my mind.

'alright this might be another failure but let's just give it a try.'

I closed my eyes and think of this as my last resort.

"main menu..."

suddenly a bright green screen appeared in front of me.
