Low-key? What's that?

[A/N:- Alright I've wrapped up my work so expect consistent updates from tomorrow, just endure today's chapter please.]

Lilly took the 90 silver coins back from the receptionist. She could feel the gazes of other adventurers and could even guess what was going on in their minds.

Beauty plus money, who didn't want that. Even if some risk was involved it was worth the risk. They had already began planning on what to do with Lilly.

Lilly and the receptionist didn't seem to have noticed their wierd gazes and continued to do what they were doing.

The woman gave a piece of paper and a pen to Lilly and said, "Please fill your details here."

Lilly nodded and took the form. There was nothing major, just name and her level and all.

One could write false details but Adventurers Guild didn't care about it. As long as your bringing money to them, you're safe.

Lilly took the pen and began filling the details. The name as always Lilly and her level....

She thought about it and then filled level 27, basically at tier 3. There was also class she had to fill, since she had used flames previously she filled Flame Mage in it.

After filling some more things, she handed back the form to the receptionist.

The woman took and inspected it. Her eyes widen as she read about her level. She raised her face and was going to say something when an unknown pressure descended upon the whole first floor.

Everyone found themselves sweating and trying their best to breath. Their body became stiff as they looked in horror at the smiling Lilly, except it didn't look like a smile.

Lilly asked with her smile, "Were you going to say something?"

Her tone was polite but the receptionist knew it was a pure threat. She was sweating buckets as she tried her best to compose herself.

She knew that Lilly was just faking her level on the form. Tier 3? Bullshit! This wasn't tier 3, she herself was a tier 3 mage then why was she so weak?

The woman could feel that Lilly's strength surpassed even the strength of their branch leader who a tier 4 Swordsman.

She hurriedly composed herself as she knew even branch leader won't be able to save her if she offended Lilly.

She forced a smile and said, "It's nothing, I was just surprised by how talented you are, reaching tier 3 at such a young age, haha. You're now an adventurer, you can take your ID card tommorow from here."

'Bullshit!' Every other adventurers on the hall cursed and immediately abandoned their plans. Fuck money and fuck beauty, they loved their lives.

"Oh that's so nice of you, thank you." Lilly smiled and thanked the woman. At her words the pressure also disappeared as if it was never there in the first place. But everyone knew it was real, they had experienced it and vowed to not mess with this beauty.

The receptionist waved her hand and said, "It's nothing, also you can take a look at the quests from the Quest Board there. Although you won't be able to take them now, it's better to look around, right?"

"Yes, you're right. I'll go take a look. Thanks again for everything." Lilly waved her hand and went towards the big quest board that hung on the wall.

[I remember someone talking about being low key.]

Lilly walked towards the quest board and answered Zain, 'Well if I hadn't done that things would have become troublesome. First I'll have to prove them about my level, then there's also these adventurers. I would have to deal with them too, and I'm not in the mood for that.'

[Can't argue with that.]

'Yeah, there are just small mobs after all.' Lilly replied and stopped before the quest board. She began to browse through the quests.

They were mostly F-Rank quests, some E-Rank and only a few D-Rank quests.

'Collecting the herbs, cleaning the backyard of mayor manor? What kind of quests are these?' Lilly thought with a speechless expression on her face.

These were the F-Rank quests so she moved her gaze towards E-Rank quests and they were no better. Killing a group of Rabits in someone's farm and like these were the quests there.

Lilly shook her head, even if she was bored as hell she wouldn't do these types of quests. She finally looked at the D-Rank quests, hoping to find something decent atleast. She had given up hope to find something interesting here.

As she was going through the quests, she sensed a strange atmosphere in the hall. Curious she turned and noticed everyone looking at the entrance or more precisely at the figure that entered.

They weren't the same gazes they gave to Lilly. No, they were completely opposite. Hateful, mockery, and many more negative emotions were in their eyes.

The figure, a short fat young man who had a messy appearance with his long black hair lying around his dirtied face. He looked more like a beggar than an adventurer.

But it looked like the figure had already gotten used to the mockery as he didn't even let out an emotion show on his face. He just directly walked towards the receptionist who furrowed their burrows seeing him.

But they were from Adventurers Guild and they had to treat everyone fairly. So one of the receptionist still tried her best to handle the fat boy.

Some adventurers began to whisper among themselves. Their voice easily reaching to Lilly's ears.

"Heh, looks like the Cursed Adventurer has returned again."

"Who do you think died this time because of him?"

"I don't think anyone died."

"Yeah, after all who would dare to actually join that cursed bastard. We all know what happened to Old man Sam who tried to help him."

"Heh, I don't get how is he even allowed to live here."

"Yeah, he's so weak and is also cursed. Why is he even here?"

Lilly grinned hearing their conversation and thought, 'Hehe so he's actually cursed huh.'
