CHAPTER 8 : THE ESCAPE

The next morning they were awoken by a loud bang on the door.

Zane was woken by a loud bang on the door, he sluggishly walked to the sitting room and was about to open the door but was shoved aside by Eva who held his mouth shut.

" Get to the room you gave us to sleep in " She whispered in he's ear, he wanted to resist but another two bangs on the door told him that if he doesn't move, he would be on next truck to the underground dungeon.

He shook her away from his body and went to the room he gave them to sleep in, Zendaya and Wes were already there.

Juan seemed busy with something that only could be seen by him, Eva appeared next to her father, " Brace yourselves everyone " She said coldly and summoned something to her hand.

Upon closer inspection Zane saw that it was a sword, BOOM!!!, another loud noise vibrated through the room, " What ever your doing do it quick " Zane said as he brought out his bow and quiver of arrows.

Eva slashed a hole in the air, an emerald green line ran through the air, " Cool " Wes said in amusement, Eva then stabbed the blade in the hole causing it to widen.

BOOM!!!

The door instantly collapsed from the pressure, the men with the wooden ram used to break down the door lost their footing and fell head first to the ground.

The law enforcers trooped into the house with electric guns and cuffs, Eva, her father, Wes and Zendaya had entered the dimensional portal remaining Zane who was about to enter but was confronted by a law enforcer with a lightning ability.

" Could you please step aside from the portal am planning an escape here" Zane said with a lot of sarcasm in his voice.

" Mr Darwin you are under arrest for the kidnapping of the mayor's son Evans, we ask for your co-operation or things could get painful " a voice said behind him.

' Shit ' Zane cursed as he dropped his bow and raised his hands, a law enforcer walked towards him slowly with a pair of handcuffs dangling in his hands.

' Release the undead ' Zane said in his mind, a thick black fog began filling the room, the enforcer stopped and started looking around.

" GRRR " an ominous growl was heard before the screams of men were heard, The hole began closing slowly, but Zane seemed less concerned.

" Gather the bodies and jump into that green thing there " Zane said pointing to the closing portal, " Y…es " one of the zombies said and they dragged the four dead men into the portal.

Zane picked up his bow and took an arrow from his quiver, he put the arrow in the bow and dragged it backwards, one of the men entered the room and was immediately shoot on the shoulder by Zane who aimed for the heart.

Now the portal was half his size, He sprinted and jumped into it.

" Father I can't hold it any longer, am running out of mana " Eva said as she was sweating buckets holding the portal open.

" Just a little longer honey, he will soon be here " Juan comforted her, soon the strong stench of rotten corpse engulfed the air.

Five zombies jumped out with four men in police uniforms, " Ewww " Eva and Juan exclaimed at the same time, Finally Zane jumped out, " Hey everyone thanks for waiting " He said.

He desummoned the zombies but left the bodies in his inventory, " Wow were are we " Wes said, Zane looked around him for the first time and saw Eva looking at him with anger and exhaustion in her eyes.

They were in a sea port, with a lot of boats, Ships, yachts and Speed boats. " For anyone's information I only travel first class " Zane said jokingly but Eva teleported to him holding penknife to his throat.

" Eva " Juan said, She teleported back to were she was before, " Does that meet your class " He said again pointing to a cruise ship at the far end of the seaport.

" Nevermind " Zane said rubbing his neck, Juan and Eva teleported to the ship leaving the trio behind, " Hey Zendaya I did something stupid " Zane said as they walked to the ship.

" As expected of you, what did you do " She replied, " I used four of my future abilities to unlock my Kingdom and Cheat system function, last night " He said.

" That's not to bad " Wes bugged in, Immediately Zane and Zendaya flashed a death stare at him, " You know what I will stay airborne " Wes said and hellflames began shooting out of his feet.

He was hovering above them looking at the distance oceans, " Four abilities, which one " She replied, " Zenith energy, Phantom manipulation, Blood Manipulation and Imagination Manipulation " He said looking at the floor.

" Well those abilities were overpowered but it was still a good mistake, but you should stop making mistakes " She told him.

" Zane, why don't we race to the ship, it will be faster " Wes said, Zane was still curious about this subordinate of his and decided to test his speed.

" Sure why not " Zane said as he dashed living Wes behind, " Cheating " Wes said as he shot himself towards the ship with a lot of speed, you could tell by the large amount of flames coming out of his feet.

FEW SECONDS LATER

" I won " Zendaya said as Wes and Zane approached the ship, Zane was Crawling with his arms and knees while Wes was still flying, " I think it's time for you to learn the rules of the assasins. " Zendaya said.

" Took you guys long enough " Juan said as he walked down from the cruise ship's stairway to meet them, he had changed into a new outfit, " I got some terms, I gat to keep I need a low rank crystal everyday till I can get to the Quindom empire " Zane said with a straight face as he stood up.

" That's not a problem it will be provided everyday " Juan assured him, they got on board the ship, when they reached the deck Zane received the greatest shock of his life.

Children, not just children, teenagers, no one there was younger than him, he even seemed to be the younger amongst them and the oldest person would be twenty or higher.

And the most annoying part was that they were a lot of them, " Sir Juan, am sorry but am requesting an immediate take back " Zane said with a frozen face.

" But we are already thirty minutes into the sea " He said in confusion, " I have been here for thirty minutes like this " Zane said as he looked at the man.

– Oh I thought his system was the freeze.

– Yeah I was like, is he dumb?

– Sir Juan, whose the new punk.

– …

" Derek his not a punk, let the murmuring stop, it's alright Zane " Sir Juan said, " It's not alright, get me the most isolated room in this ship.
