What am I supposed to do?

In the end, I had no choice but to lie to Saya. I mean, it wasn't *completely* a lie… right? Okay, maybe I didn't plan to deceive her initially, but the situation evolved, and here we are. It's more like a partial lie. At least that's what I keep telling myself. 

But the thing is, I can't afford to make Saya angry.

My instincts scream at me not to.

Saya's not like other people—at least not anymore. Ever since the world went insane and magic, skills, and chaos became part of our lives, she's been… different. More dangerous, if that's even possible. And considering how terrifying she was before, that's really saying something. If she gets mad now, it's not just about hurt feelings or a cold shoulder. No, now it could mean a lightning bolt straight to my face, or worse, a fireball to my back while I sleep.

I know because it almost happened once.

So yeah, angering Saya? Not on the agenda.
