The night was long and filled with a thick silence. Eva's eyes were fixated on Xylon's face, studying every curve and line, as she stayed by his bedside. She had been there for hours, tirelessly caring for him, tending to his wounds and easing his pain.
As she gently brushed his dark, long hair with her delicate fingers, she couldn't help but think back on all the times he had acted arrogantly and made everyone around him despise him.
Despite his past mistakes, Eva couldn't help but feel an overwhelming love for her brother. She knew that, deep down, he was a good person who had just lost his way.
Her thoughts were interrupted by Xylon's sudden movements as he thrashed about, trapped in a nightmare.
Eva's heart sank as she saw the distress etched on his face.
"Xylon, dear, my poor little brother" She pleaded with him, whispering his name over and over again, hoping to wake him from his slumber.
