Plan

Jeff walked around for a while until he arrived at a martial arts practice field.

What caught his attention the moment he arrived, was a group of 4 conspicuous platforms.

The platforms were martial art stages on which sparring took place.

Looking around curiously, Jeff found that the stages were covered with a special blue stone, the stone didn't break no matter how much inhuman strength the martial artists exerted.

From what he could tell, the strength they exerted was indeed inhuman!

Almost every punch, palm strike, and kick, were accompanied by the whooshing wind, and the impact would make the stage vibrate slightly.

As this was his first encounter with the extraordinary, seeing such a scene made Jeff feel very excited.

'I want to learn martial arts as well!'

Jeff also noticed the division of class, on one side of the field, the side Jeff was on, there were dozens of people dressed like him, in coarse linen clothes.

On the other side, there was a group of eleven people, and they were dressed in more expensive looking sparring clothes.

It didn't take long before Jeff understood the identities of the group of people, and he got the information of their identities through the servant's whispers.

'Awesome! It is as if these people are talking directly into my ears!'

Although Jeff didn't know the full use of what he considered to be XP, he realized that it brought him a lot of benefits.

Aside from the increased fitness and strength, Jeff realized that the XP had actually improved his five senses.

The Improvements he had gained so far were not too impressive, but he could still easily hear the words of people whispering five meters away from him.

Among those people, there was an elder (management level person), two deacons (leader level personnel), and a group of disciples.

Under the supervision of the elder and deacons, the group of disciples would take turns to step up to the stages and spar with the servants.

As he watched the sparring, Jeff realized a big problem.

It seemed as though all servants had practiced martial arts!

This meant that he, a person who had no memories of ever practicing martial arts, was most definitely going to be exposed sooner or later!

Even if he could secretly learn martial arts from other people, he would probably not be as proficient as his predecessor, which will lead to a lot of questions!

'It seems like the path of secretly developing in a steady and low-key way has been cut off for me!'

As Jeff was racking his brain for ways to address his situation, the son of the sect master, the sect's young master, got on stage.

'So that is the young master I was just talking about?'

He was a young man in his early twenties, had average height, and was very well toned.

His opponent was a man who seemed to be in his late twenties, a very muscular man.

They first bowed towards each other, and they started their sparring match.

On the first move, they compared their respective strengths as they both launched punches without any special techniques.

Fist met fist, the muscular man was actually pushed three meters back, which prompted him to take a step back to recover his balance.

Seeing this, the middle aged man who was said to be the third elder of the sect, stroked his goatee and nodded in approval.

"Good strength! His body is getting stronger and stronger!"

The muscular man on the stage quickly ran his internal energy in his body to relief the stress in his arm, and he prepared himself for the second round of confrontation.

He knew he was not match for the young master, the key is to find a way to reduce the degree of injuries he was certain to obtain.

After the initial strength test, the two started to use their martial art techniques in combat.

At first, the young master, Jacob Eagle, focused on training his speed, using his light body technique to dodge and navigate around his opponent's offensive moves.

The muscular man did his best to cater for Jacob, but he didn't really dare to hurt him.

When Jacob occasionally slipped up, the man would only tap him in the place where his attack could have landed without really going full force.

When this happened, the young master would correct his mistakes and try again.

After a while, when he felt that he had nothing more to gain from his opponent anymore, Jacob started to go on the offence.

In three moves, the muscular man was sent flying of the stage by the sect's iconic palm technique, the <>.

The man was quite lucky, originally, the palm strike was going for his heart but he managed to duck and only his clavicle and one or two ribs seemed to be broken.

During this fight, Jeff had already thought of a plan that could possibly help him survive for a longer time, and extract more information out of Tony.

He hesitated for a moment then started walking towards the stage.

At this moment, the third elder had jumped on the stage, and was giving Jacob advice on his techniques.

"…the balls of your feet, that way your movement won't be so awkward, and your maneuverability will be increased."

"If you can't even defeat these people here without being tagged, then forget about winning a battle against anyone in the martial arts competition."

"As for that last move of yours, it was too bad! If you use it in the martial arts competition like this, it won't be able to hit anyone!"

"You should lower your body a bit more when using the first move in the iron claw technique, this will not only increase the strength, but the speed of execution will be faster."

"Also, if you can…"

The third elder cut his words off, glanced at Jeff who was standing at the bottom of the stage and frowned in displeasure.

"Excuse me, third elder, I would like to discuss something with you in private."

The frown on the elder's face deepened, his expression became impatient, and he was about to wave him away.

"Me? Talk to you in private? Who do you… Wait.."

His eyes narrowed as he looked at Jeff.

"Weren't you here yesterday? If I remember correctly, you should be seriously injured right now!"

"Why do you look healed?"

The third elder had practiced martial arts for almost thirty two years, so he could easily see through the state of Jeff's body.

As for recognizing the wrong person, even if he did not pay any special attention to him, it was impossible for the third elder to forget his face.

The third elder had already stepped into the Innate realm, the realm where a martial artist metaphorically escapes the mortal womb and is born into the extraordinary.

Not only were his strength and senses better than that of ordinary martial artists, but his memory was impeccable.

The moment he confirmed Jeff's identity, the third elder realized that there was something seriously wrong with Jeff.

Jeff opened his mouth to try to say a few words, but his pupils shrank involuntarily and his words failed to come out.

The third elder who was about a dozen meters away from him, took three steps and he was already in front of him with his index finger on his forehead.

Before he could come back to his senses, the third elder had already poked his body in a few places, thus effectively rendering him unable to move.

Jeff swallowed hard, and his back was soaked with cold sweat.

'Damn it! Who gave me the bright idea of coming up here?! Come here, I promise not to hack you with my sword.'

'Oh yeah, it was me…'

He thought to himself as he took a few breaths, trying to suppress his fear.

"Yes, I am fully healed, this is part of what I wanted to discuss with you."

After making sure that he had taken away his mobility, the third elder grabbed Jeff's hand and inserted some of his true energy into his body to fully check his state.

The more he checked, the deeper the frown on his face became.

'It is not only the bones and organs that have healed, but his meridians and Dantian have also healed!'

'I don't know any kind of elixir that can heal wounds to this degree, it is almost as if he was never injured!'

'The most absurd thing is that his body is actually much stronger than he appeared to be yesterday!'

The third elder felt that this situation was too weird, and he had half a mind to kill Jeff there and then.

'But if the sect can master such a means if healing wounds…'

Seeing that the third elder's eyes on him seemed to be getting more and more dangerous, Jeff couldn't help but swallow in fear, but he still forced a smile on his face to convey the fact that he was not a threat.

"Tell me! How did you get your wounds to heal so quickly?!"

"Why is your body stronger?!"

Seeing that the third elder didn't directly kill him, Jeff let it a sigh of relief.

"Are you sure you want to talk about this right here?"

Frowning slightly, the third elder glanced around, and sure enough, everyone in the field was paying attention to them!

"What are you all looking at?! Quickly go back to what you were doing!"

He rebuked in a heavy tone before picking up Jeff as if lifting a rabbit by the scruff of the neck.

The third elder was significantly taller than Jeff's 1.75 meter height.

"Jacob, follow me, we are going to see your father."
