"Maybe dance." That was what she said.
Daniel was not satisfied with her reply. It was not the answer he was expecting to hear from her. He wanted to know more about what was going on with her.
"You know that is not what I meant." He stood beside her on the railing as he stared at the side of her face. He intended to figure out what she was thinking.
He could sense the change in her, although he was not sure if that was a good thing or not. So far, he was happy with the way things were going with her. He was just concerned that it might be a temporary thing and sooner or later she would crush down and burn.
"I want this feeling to stay." She finally admitted. She did not want to go back to the dark side of her life. She was tired of being sad and insecure.
Today, after her day at the shop, she never felt more pleased with herself. She felt empowered by what she had accomplished with focus, determination, and hard work. She craved for more.
