Chapter 3 - I'll get used to it

" *COUGH* *COUGH* " With a twisted look in their faces, the hatred of the mother and daughter deepen.

"That b*tch, You should've killed her already mom, she was safe and only barely escaped with amnesia! She acted so arrogantly." The youngest miss, in her ripe age of 15 said to her mother who was lying down on her bed. As if she has forgotten how she just acted earlier, kissing the ground because of her defeat.

"My genius daughter, that cripple is nothing compared to you, amnesia or not she's still the same." That's what they thought. *sigh* These two women has ignored the first signs of their demise, as if sure of their future, they were set on killing her.

"That Blind b*tch slapped me many times and no one helped! If it wasn't for that cripple I would've had the sorcerer's stone so you must kill her!" After crippling her by blocking her meridians with poison, breaking her Dantian, and stealing her spiritual root, they can never have enough can they? These two wicked pair has done nothing but torment the eldest lady.

"Don't worry my dear, I will kill her by the end of the weekend. Let's just wait for the return of Wu Xue and the elders." Concubine Ning smirked as if seeing the absolute result of her plans. If anyone was to see their true colors, they themselves would fantasize the pair's demise.

" *cough* pweh." I ran towards the bathroom spit out the blood in my mouth. I was covered by sweat, stinking black sweat.

"What is this Al?" I raised my hair that was drenched with this sticky substance, I noticed it just now when I coughed out blood.

"The current body is reaching its limits milady. The natural talent of your soul doesn't match the physical aspects of the current body." I started to clean my meridians and nurture the spiritual roots. I'm still new to such things since I've only read about this subject when an acquaintance of mine gave me a Chinese novel.

"What stage am I in?" I asked. After going through physical pain for a week, I finally cleansed my whole body and thus, decided through with the cultivation. The first time felt refreshing but as and when I went through my first bottleneck a yesterday, I felt a sense of freedom as if I was freed from suffocation. But as time went by, It felt harder to continue but I still did.

"You're currently at Qi Fusion My lady, Stage 4 rank 9. I suggest that you rest for now and battle low ranked beasts instead of a closed door cultivation. Even if you can do it, The current body can't." Al has been going out every night to collect information and guides me. I'm very thankful that he was sent.

"What is the maid doing?" I asked.

"As you have ordered milady, I arranged her duties and she's currently in the inner courtyard." I nodded. I instructed him to find a way so that the maid won't be coming here anymore. I have to hide my cultivation as much as possible and it has been a week since I last went out. The maid still cried for me and sneaks out of her duties to bring me food.

"Can you search for these Al?" After bathing I gave Alexei a list of things. I need the essential herbs in my collection so I can perform my skills once again this weekend.

The pair of mother and daughter has been quiet as expected, and they would be making their move when the elders of the Wu clan visit by the end of the week, the uncle must have heard of my amnesia already and has done nothing, no ones really realizing that neglecting even one tiny detail would cause their ruin. I dressed myself up and prepared for Alexei's return when I heard a bunch of footsteps outside. I went near the slightly ajar window and saw my maid being dragged by a 3 other maids.

'What are they up to now?' I sighed to myself and they seem to notice me. They have been doing random stuff in front of my courtyard for a few days now. I just ignore them since all they do is trash the place like gangsters and talk sh*t. Now they went and beat up Yao Bai.

"If it isn't the useless cripple of the capital. Like what you see? Oops, forgot that she's f*cking blind!"

"Bwahahaha." The lady in front started mocking me and the two maids holding the beaten up maid started laughing.

"M-miss, please just, ignore them..." Baibai was slowly losing consciousness. I don't give a single crap about these guys so I just stood there pretending to be blind.

'Beat her all you want, just don't be too noisy.' I shrugged it off and turned my back on them. I don't have time for this. I sat on the lounge just in front of the window and started thinking on where I can get the remaining ingredients.

"Aww, look little b*tch, the big b*tch ignored you! bwhahahaha."

"Hey! Are you deaf?! Hey tramp!" They let go of the unconscious Yao Bai and opened my window roughly causing it to break from it's hinges.

"Tsk, as expected. You're not only blind but deaf as well." One of the maids went near my ear and started shouting. I opened my eyes and smiled. 'I mean, I could wait for Alexei... But, I could use extra ones.'

I stood up and faced the maid in front of me.

"What? You f*ckin back to your sens-AAHH." I pulled her inside from the window and twisted her neck. The remaining two maids were still from shock.

"Y-y-you b*tch!" Th other maid holding Yao Bai tries to attack me, emphasize the *tried*, I doged and flipped her whole body towards the inside of the window. The third maid tried to run but I caught up to her and knocked her out. 'Now I won't be running out of important ingridients anymore.' I carried the madi inside as well and forgot about Baibai since she was passed out already. I laid their bodies inside and prepared the bucket as well as my tools. I had ordered Alexei to go to a near blacksmith last week to make scalpels, needles, scissors, and the likes. It was hard to look for elastic gloves but I managed. I layed the first body. I left the two others alive since I'm just going ti ectract a few organs from them. I just needed to healthy apendic and and two healthy kidneys.

"My lady, I have failed my task, I wasn't able to kill a fresh healthy body without a family in her twenties." Alexei bowed and gave me his puch filled with the herbs I asked for.

"It's fine, we already have one." I smiled at him and pointed at the dead body lying on the bathroom ground. "Oh by the way, bring Yao Bai to her quarters, clean up the mess outside, and preserve the dead body" I continued. He then nodded and went away.

I looked back at the naked body laying down on the metal table. She was still breathing. I fetched one of my little bottles. I created a sleeping pill with the help of a new furnace I stole, I forgot who was the owner of it but it was a nice quality furnace. Sleeping pills were the first type of pills Ivr6created with it. I forced the maid to drink the pill and it was succrssful.

'She won't be waking up for days now.'

I couldn't make a sleeping pill with a shorter effect... I still needed a lot of practice. I looked at the body once more as I wore my gloves and held the scalpel.

"*sigh* I'll get used to it."
