Chapter 16 Side Quest

Edward used the assassin teleportation skill to quickly come to the side of the Super Bull King when he fell to the ground and used the plunder skill.

The Super Bull King screamed in pain and the blue light around it was extinguished. Then it fell to the ground and closed its eyes, dying forever.

At the same time, the voice of the system came again.

Irene teased.

Edward smiled.

The night was still long.

On the second day, Edward woke up in the sunshine.

"Irene"

Edward woke up Irene who was sleeping soundly in his arms.

"What's wrong?"

Irene answered with her sleepy eyes.

"I'll use the friend teleportation function to check on Laura and others. I haven't seen them for a long time. I'm afraid that they will be anxious, and then I'll come back to pick you up."

"Then go back quickly. I'm afraid of being alone."

Irene said coquettishly.

Edward was satisfied to see Irene like this.

After saying goodbye to Irene, Edward opened the control panel and clicked the friend teleportation function.

The system immediately activated the playback function.

The big screen began to play what happened to them before.

It turned out that when they were waiting for Edward and Irene, it suddenly snowed heavily and the temperature of the earth instantly drop a lot.

In the distance, a giant wolf with a bear-like-body monster attacked them.

Phillip was badly injured before he could react. Then Rowling asked Laura to heal Phillip and draw the monster away herself.

Rowling tried her best to resist, but as a long-range shooter, Rowling couldn't fight against the monster at a close distance and finally was knocked out soon.

Phillip was tied up by the monster and disappeared with Rowling.

However, Laura was frozen into an ice sculpture by the sudden drop in temperature.

Edward's heart was broken after seeing this scene.

It seemed that this was a new system task, but unfortunately, the three of them were unable to fight against it.

Before Edward could think for a long time, the prompt tone of the system rang again:

"There are still three days left before your team's task is completed. If you can't complete it in three days, you will be punished severely. Two energy bars will be deducted, and at the same time, your talent skill will be frozen for half a month."

Edward cursed.

Edward sneered.

"You can start a side quest to go to the Moon Cave to obtain treasures. After completing the side quest, you will get a chance to make a wish, then your teammates can be saved."

The voice of the system sounded again.

Edward immediately turned on the teleportation function and returned to Irene's. He was determined to complete this side quest.
